Really great quality rain jacket for my pup. It’s comfortable for him to wear. Fits true to size description (I measured him before ordering). He looks adorable in it, and it keeps him dry. Great product. He doesn’t usually like wearing anything except bandanas but doesn’t mind wearing his jacket at all. Highly recommend.

I chose this particular coat mainly because it doesn't have a hood. A hood on a dog coat seems silly, and just likely to annoy the dog. This coat feels like good quality, with a waterproof shell and fleecy lining. For our dog, it fits a big loosely, but I think that's good. It's comfortable and easy to put on. This is very important because he HATES it! I'm trying to train him to let me put it on when it's raining because he loves to be outside, but comes in soaking wet over and over throughout the day. With this, I do have to chase him down, but you can get it in place very quickly with the velcro across the chest and under the torso. There is a lot of velcro to overlap, so it's adjustable and easy to match up when your dog is squirming to get away. He's slowly getting accustomed to the coat, and I like not having to towel him off every time he comes in from the rain.

Bought for 2 dogs. This worked for our 2 45 pound dogs (border collie and red heeler). Bought a large for both of them and it fits both well. (The sizing says it would work on our 25 pound mini aussie -(NOT). It would be huge. I'll try a medium even though the measurements indicated are smaller than he is.) Quality is very good, though their long hair does get trapped in the Velcro and every so often I need to clean it out to get the coat to stay put. I also sewed a button hole where the harness goes through the coat. Other than that, it's a nice product and I'm buying it again in the medium to see if it fits our aussie.

Very lightweight but waterproof. The thin lining under the waterproof top is nice. Very adjustable as the velcro closures can be secured in several places to ensure a perfect fit. My border collie has complete freedom of movement to run, jump and chase balls and the coat stays in place to keep her dry. Air dries very quickly and is ready to use again in an hour or so. So much easier to dry off the dog as only her head & legs get wet, not the heavy fur on her body; much better than a hair dryer. The bright color [green] makes her easy to locate and follow when she is out in the tall grass. Selected a size based on the measurements provided and the coat fits well and is easy to put on and take off.

I wanted to review this now because before I purchased the XL I asked if people recommended ordering true to size or one size up - and I got mixed answers, so I ordered XL because the GSD has a 28" chest. I put it on her - yes, it fits, but.... when exercising watch how your dog's chest area and rib cage expands. My last GSD would pop her coat off in the front chest area as soon as she pulled on the leash. So I am willing this rain jacket over to my Malinois who is a bit smaller, fits comfy, and with chest expansion will do fine, and I will be ordering the XXL for the German Shep so she doesn't pop the velcro when exercising. I believe this is the key issue when figuring what size to order. I also poured some water on the top of the coat and let it sit and no problem with it seeping through, so I'll say it is waterproof. It has a small flap over the opening for a leash off collar. Stitching is neat and even.

I have a 1 1/2 old GSD. I purchased an 2X. She probably weighs between 80-90 pounds. Her chest is 34” , neck 19”and her length is 23”. This coat is not too heavy with 2 Velcro straps one around the neck then around her stomach I might say right after her front legs. Super easy to put on. Place it on the dogs back and strap them in. I found it easier to Velcro the neck first then you can adjust the coat on their back and the Velcro around their stomach. This jacket is adjustable Velcro straps so she even has room to grow. My main concern if she’s walking and it’s misting rain/snow she won’t get wet. Plus the reflective strip covers well. When we go for a walk we both have reflective gear on. LOL. Great product. Do your measurements of your pet before you purchase. Oh lastly it doesn’t interfere with your pets collar or leash.

This is a game changer. I wanted something that would cut down my drying time after walking my two dogs in the rain. For them to be willing to wear it, I needed something comfortable and without a hood. This is PERFECT. The thin fleece layer makes it feel like a sweater (which they love), it’s easy to put on, it stays in place, and it’s functional (their backs stay dry). They also look so sleek. My older male dog did accidentally pee on the stomach part 1x, but he has terrible aim so this may be just him and not a design flaw. I followed body measurements and ended up with ones that had a great fit. My mid sized dog is 38lbs and a large fit him well (green in the photo) My little one is 20lbs and a medium fits perfect (blue).

My GSD is an adult and it covered only half of her body. She's the size of a male GSD, nearly 100 lbs. Add her winter coat and it barely hugged her body.
