UPDATE: I wrote this review a few months ago. I wanted to hive you an updated review. I no longer have to have hammertoe surgery because this product has stopped all my pain. I still have a hammer toe on my right foot, but when I wear this device I no longer have any pain. I wanted to let you know that one day I lost it and found it in my dryer. I found that the material that it's made out of stretches out and doesn't feel as comfortable on my foot. What I found out was that when it went through the dryer that the rubber went back to the original shape. The material that it's made out of will pull out of shape after about a month and the device will slip on my foot. So after it went through the dryer I found that the heat put it back in its original shape. So what I do is every night when I take it off I put it under the hottest water that I can have and I find that the device goes back into its original shape. I put it under the water for about 5 minutes. This is very important because if you follow my directions you can buy one package and it can last you a long time. Before it went in the dryer I found that I was having to replace it once every month. Now that I put it under the hot water the rubber will shrink back into the original shape. But if you don't want to run it under hot water every night to get it to go back into its original shape you will have to use another one every month because it only lasts for about 30 days if you don't put it under the hot water.**** If you want to stop your hammer toe pain, you need to buy this now! I'm going to have hammer toe surgery at the end of July and I'm so thankful to have this. As soon as I slipped it on my right foot I no longer had any hammer toe pain! It doesn't slip at all and I can fit my foot in my shoe easily. It feels so comfortable on my foot.

Great toe crest product for 3 toes.
Works better than expected. I’ve tried a leather toe crest and it’s too firm and really uncomfortable. These are soft, pliable, and flexible for easy on and off! I wear them intermittently to provide more comfort.

Pretty good, but need to come in larger size
I've used this toe separator for more than a year now. It's durable--will take a lot of stretching--very soft and comfortable, easy to install, remove, clean, and dry. Over the course of the year I have actually seen some retraction of the hammer toes, due, I think, to the separators, so that from time to time I can be fairly comfortable with them off. If I had a suggestion it would be that they be made somewhat firmer and the pad on the bottom be enlarged. I wear a size 12 shoe, and these could be more helpful, I think, if they were larger and firmer. As it is, they are really made for smaller feet and bodies than mine.

Very uncomfortable for me
I've read so many glowing reviews of this product so decided to purchase. I have broken one toe twice, the one next to my big toe, and as a result it has ended up somewhat crooked. Also broke the toe next to it which healed a bit crooked as well. This has become painful so I hoped this device would help. The device does straighten my toes which is good but the base of the device extends under my big toe and my pinkie toe on the other end. This causes a great deal of discomfort. I find it impossible to wear them in any kind of shoe or sandle that I own without discomfort. While it states that its sized for a minimum shoe size of 6, I hoped it would work for my size 5 feet. Maybe this is the problem. I just find the part that is under my toes to be incredibly uncomfortable. In hand it feels very lightweight and soft but under my toes it feels like I'm stepping on concrete. I can manage them indoors wearing flip-flops although they do get in the way but I cannot wear them in shoes or sneakers. I end up limping. Also, I don't see anything that states how long this needs to be worn to correct my problem.

Comforting.
A little early but it really seems to help.

Good product
Good product for my hammer toes.... I would recommend to keep toes separated and not too uncomfortable.

They ended up cutting my toes.
I didn't notice it until after wearing these on my foot, but they cut my toes! I am diabetic and suffer from nephropathy, so I have to watch my feet for any injury or open sore. Apparently, they rubbed on one toe, and I didn't notice the wound until it had scabbed over. I never felt it while the wound was forming, as I am also legally blind and didn't see it forming. If you have any sensory issues with your feet, then you'll need to watch them very closely. The sore healed without any problems, but I'm afraid to use the device now since it already caused one wound. They didn't feel tight while wearing them ,I can only guess that they rubbed the toe once I put a sock and shoe on. I do wear special shoes too. I'll try wearing the device with a band aid under it, that might be my only other option to continue to use the device. It did help with the curling toes, but if they continue to cause sores, then they are pretty much useless to me. I'll update the review once I try the band aid approach

Toe shape, and size are important
These are good quality, but fit is really dependent on the shape and length of your toes. If you have thin, straight toes without much knuckle, the slip off and do not stay in place. Size really does matter as if you have thin toes, the loops are too large and don’t hold it in place.
