Bellman Audio Domino Pro Professional Hearing System

This is a great enhancement for people with severe hearing loss. Crystal clear amplification and simply amazing clarity. In many situations, such as speaking to a group, one can actually hear questions or comments from members of the group-- something I could not hear without this product. The receiver works great for one-on-one situations. In groups, or to hear speakers at a distance, simply place the transmitter close to the speakers on a table, for example, and it miraculously transmits crystal clear speech to your receiver. Truly the best on the market, at least when I bought this a couple of years ago.Unfortunately, the product is maddeningly finicky. When it works, it's great, but sometimes it simply does not work. I recently connected it to my TV and it did not work at all. I had used it, on the same tv, a few weeks before and it worked very well. For listening one-on-one, it is perfect. For some social settings, it improves hearing. I am now looking at the Phonak Roger, which allows multiple microphone transmitters to be used by each person in a group. This is great technology, but is very, very expensive. By contrast, the Bellman Audio Domino Pro is very well priced. ALike many other tech products, the instruction manual needs to be improved.
