2005-2009 Mustang & GT500 Brushed Stainless Fuse Box Cover - Black Cobra

As a new item, I'm completely satisfied with the look. My only initial concern with quality is how the chromed ABS plastic emblem will hold up to the temperatures of the engine compartment, over time. I will modify my feedback if that becomes any issue.The stainless cover ships with peel-off protective film. I thought the cover was scratched after removal, but it was just adhesive residue from the protective film. A little elbow-grease, a soft cloth, and rubbing alcohol took care of removing it. Household stainless cleaner will probably also do the trick, but re-clean with alcohol before emblem application. I cleaned the surface of my original fuse box lid with alcohol too, before placing the new stainless cover on it. And if you place the emblem with the lid removed (I recommended this for easy centering), then also remember which end is which! The lid only snaps back on one way.

As described. Had to polish due to it being a raw cut of stainless steel but for 40.00 you cant complain!

The corners were not welded, the snake logo not attached to the plate.
