Decent quality. Lasted over 2 years.
I have a 10ft wide square umbrella with 9ft tall straight post. Some covers are made to fit the curved post, or "banana" umbrella posts. Some only cover JUST the umbrella and not the post. This one covers the whole thing with tons of room to spare. There is no drawstring at the bottom like I thought though. It's wide open and you have to tie it up with a bungee cord. Edit: 2 year 6 months later, I now have to buy another one. Zipper broke a while back, and and now a hole ripped open on top. I'm not sure if I'll use same brand, or what.

Ease of Installation
After previous cover did not hold up after only a few months fabric became brittle, developed cracks and holes - we ordered this one. What a difference, good quality fabric, sturdy zipper. Huge difference is the pvc poles it comes with to help reach the top and cover umbrella. Very happy with purchase.

Nice material, bad installation pole which is NOT integrated to the cover and poor instructions.
Just received the cover. The size is great and absolutely accurate. It fits our 10ft x 10ft Costco cantilever umbrella fine. The material looks petty high quality which is more than I can say for the instructions or the pole supplied to ease getting to top of the cover over the top of the umbrella. It is three cheap PVC pole pieces with two larger diameter sleeves to allow the 3 pole pieces to make a longer single pole. These PVC sleeves are too flimsy for the weight of the umbrella and started to crack after a single use. I had to use duct tape to save it. The instructions do not describe how to use the pole and the description about the pole being a permanent device are inaccurate. There is no way to fix it to the umbrella. This is a complete afterthought. Despite this, the cover itself seems well constructed and high quality.

Looks durable!
This looks durable. I didn't realize how handy the "stick" would be for installation, it is just some PVC pipe and connectors, but it was a lot easier to install in the wind with this, vs jumping. I used this on my Lowe's SimplyShade 11' cantilever outdoor umbrella. Lots of room, covers it from top to bottom.

Lasted only 14 months in the Arizona sun.
Update 6/2025 - Cover lasted only 14 months before a hole developed on the top and another on the side. 4/24 - The cover overall appears to be well made. However the crappy 3 pieces of PVC piping (used as the integrated installation pole) made it very difficult to get the cover over the top of the umbrella. It was too short and flimsy at best. Nothing integrated about it.

High quality cover from a reputable company
This cover worked great on my offset 10' umbrella and covers the most important parts. It rained last night and the interior is completely dry. The lowest base is exposed, but that is not a big deal for me. Over the years, I've purchased 10 covers from this company (Classic Accessories). Each one has been high quality, waterproof and long-lasting. I expect the "Duck Covers" product line will continue with their high standards and quality. I contacted the company to try and figure out the differences between the "Soteria" and "Ultimate" versions of these Duck Covers. The response was detailed with material specifications for each but I still don't know which is better at keeping water out. In any case, the Soteria works well for my situation. The 'wand' is basically three pieces of PVC with two slip connectors. It did the job putting the cover over the top of the umbrella. I can see how others might have problems with it, however the company may have improved this element. And the "sewn in pocket" is simply a place to store the separated pieces of the wand. It would be nice if the assembled wand actually stayed in the cover, but this method allows you to disassemble the wand and fold up the entire cover for storage.

A Nice Cover But Not Long Lasting
I just bought two of these for my offset umbrellas to replace the crappy vinyl ones that came with them and disintegrated after less than 2 years. The material quality is good. It's a grayish taupe polyester fabric on the exterior with a PVC coating on the inside. They are of a good heavy weight and it seems like they will last. They come with an extension wand that you use to lift it over the top of the umbrella without needing a ladder. I would recommend not buying these types of covers unless they come with one. My criticisms are as follows: the wand is basically 3 pieces of PVC pipe and two connectors. It's very ungainly to use and one of the connectors cracked under the weight of the cover the first time I used it - so be on the lookout for longevity issues with the wand. Also, I don't know what the manufacturer is talking about when it says the wand is sewn in. It's not. It comes in the package very much loose, not sewn in, and you have to put it together. There is a pocket inside the cover with a velcro strap. I'm not sure what the purpose of it is. Storage? An insertion point when putting the cover on? The instructions don't tell you (another criticism). I use it to store the wand - it will fit when the wand is disassembled back into three pieces. Overall, I recommend these. The quality is pretty good aside from the included wand. At around 100" long, these were the longest I could find to give me the most coverage for my 11' diameter umbrella, which is rather tall when in the closed position. I wish they were a bit longer to cover the entire pole down to the base like the originals did, because I fear wind gusts getting under there and carrying it away. There are built in vents to prevent this, but they are small, so I don't know how effective they will be. But the most important part is that it covers all of the umbrella fabric, which is what you really need to protect. UPDATE: I own two of these. The first developed hole at the top where it rests on the umbrella after a year. To their credit, Duck covers replaced it no questions asked. Now with 2 months left on the 2 year warranty, the second one has developed the same problem. This indicates a design defect in the product. So I will be making a warranty claim on that one too. The problem is that the warranty will then expire and I'll be moving on to something else when holes inevitably form again after the product is out of warranty. I don't expect things to last forever - but these can't even make it through their warranty period. Consequently, I have reduced my original 4 stars to 2.

Just Started but..
It fits my Lowe's Cantilever umbrella. It is pretty tall and pretty wide and it fits nicely. Thank you for making this! I had birds nest in my umbrella last year so this year I want to prevent that and this works nicely!

This umbrella cover is great. Made of strong material, nice color, and very easy to install. Just what we needed to cover our umbrella over the winter to protect from wind, and snow.

Abit heavier than expected, but good quality except for the plastic pole, I just sewed my original alloy pole into the inside , just long enough to cover my pool umbrella, I wish that the bottom had a draw string.

Since we had purchased a new patio umbrella, a cover was necessary to protect the umbrella as much as possible. We have now used the umbrella cover for its first summer and stored it inside for the winter. The cover hade already begun to show signs of minor color fading at its top from where it is most exposed to the sun over that first summer. I did not expect to fading occur so fast. The cover is well made and appears to be water proof. It is easy to remove (for anyone over 5'8") and put back onto the umbrella at the end of the day with the extension handle that comes with the unit. The zipper is strong and functions without any concern. It still looks reasonably good after its first summer of use so sun exposure and further color fading during its second summer will be an interesting test of its longer durability.

We just got this to cover our umbrella over the winter, so I’m not sure how it will golden up, but so far it’s great. It seems durable and water proof. It fit our large offset umbrella well and is secure on it. It wasn’t very easy to put on...the pole to fit it over the umbrella was perfect...simple but did the job.
