I love Himalayan Pink Salt. It really compliments and enhances the flavor of the food I'm preparing or serving. I have been using a fine grind of the salt in a shaker, which is perfect for the table, but wanted a course grind to use in a grinder for food prep and cooking. This brand of salt has the perfect size of crystals for my grinder so grinding is very smooth for a finer whether I"m using it in the kitchen or on the table.Unlike your everyday white iodized salt, Himalayan Pink salt contains many trace minerals including iodine. That everyday white salt you've been using your whole life has been so overly processed, all trace minerals have been stripped from it. Including iodine so they have to add it back into the salt to "iodize" it. Don't be fooled by the Sea Salt craze. ALL salt is Sea Salt. This salt comes from sea waters that covered the area during the Jurassic Era 250 million years ago and was left behind when the sea levels went down.There is such a difference in the taste of my food with Himalayan Pink Salt and is such an improvement over white salt. There is no way I'll use that stripped down white salt ever again. Magnesium, good for your brain, is what makes the salt pink.This is great salt at a great price.

This stuff is so good for you. My wife and I add it to our water and just about everything we cook. Hydrates the muscles and is an essential nutrient. The coarse consistency works perfectly in our grinder. Not sure there's a better deal than this company's offering on Amazon.

I bought this for a few of my salt grinders. Because of the price break on the larger size, I opted for a 5 lb bag of the salt. The amount you get for the price is terrific.There is variety in the coarseness of the salt, but I expected that from the description.The flavor of the salt is good. I'm a not a salt expert, but I'm happy with it. And the price is so much better than my local stores and warehouse clubs.

This is good Himalayan salt. I like the coarse salt to put in my grinder. This last bag I ordered had a lot of salt dust in it, but this was atypical. That's the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.

Perfect for what I needed it for which was for an essential oil inhaler! Chunks are big enough~ works perfect!! Very pleased :)

This salt is absolutely great tastintg, almost sweet. I use very little salt to cook with. I wanted to use salt as additive after cooking and this salt is too large grained to do this effectively.

we don't use a lot of salt so this smaller package fits us well. quality salt that works well in our salt mill.
