Cuts well with confidence.
After previously breaking a 4 flute tap while hand tapping through 1/2" aluminum plate, I bought 2 of these. One did the rest of the holes quickly. I didn't have the feeling that I was likely to break the tap, as I did with the 4 flute. And yes, I used tapping fluid both times.
