Replacement Solera Fabric
My Solera awning lasted eight years before beach winds and sun finally forced me to replace the fabric. I chose the same color of fabric of the original Solera awning and the price was lower than expected. My order was shipped by a third party, but arrived sooner than projected. It took only 26 minutes for two people to install. It looks great and I hope to get at least eight years out of this one.

PERFECT
This awning fabric was super easy to order and install. Went to a RV store to order the same fabric, they wanted part numbers off the old one. Then they wanted twice the amount for the fabric and an outrageous amount to install. This is the exact same manufacturer as I replaced and was going to order from the store.It took 2 hours for 2 people to remove and replace, most of that was looking for the screw holding the other in place.

Horrible Awning
Received solera 12’ replacement awning. Once installed and sun came out realized it had 14 plus pin holes. At almost every fold. Took down and sent back. Received replacement, same thing. Both boxes had expired unfold dates. They both had been in boxes for 3-4 months. According to solera it’s to be folded no more then 30 days max or holes will develop at folds. Sent back for refund was simply done with this brand. Ordered different brand came fast was packaged way better and most importantly had no holes. For the money of this awning it should have no holes.

RV awning fabric
Bought as was wider than most. Thinner than original Dometic. Side edges are just raw material not folded over and seamed. At first looked like holes where product was folded but closer inspection showed that colored coating was peeling. Disappointing but not deal breaker. Hopefully lasts for several years. Easy to install did not come with directions although got good directions on u tube.
