Excellent clipper, worth the money, I have two happy dogs, that love their haircuts :)
First, we have two Shitzsu pups, both rescues. Younger one always never liked grooming, and groomer had complained that he was fighting her.I decided that I want to cut his hair.I've been doing this to older one for years, using cheap clipper.I wanted good clipper to make it easy on me and Mookie.I read many reviews of many different clippers. It was hard to decide. There are so many of them, and so many different opinions.I chose Bravura due to reports of it running cool, quiet, and being cordless. So First I tried it on Teddy.Oh my!! What a difference. This thing is very sharp, cuts super easy. It runs almost completely cool. It is not silent, but it buzzes a little bit. Not bad at all. Quieter than some corded ones.It is very light, and so easy to use without fighting the cord.SO it took half the time or less to cut Teddy's hair. I used one of provided combs. Bravura had no problem at all, even when going trough some matted hair (our pups get mats around arm pits, and chest). After maybe 45 min, maybe little more battery was still at 2 bars.I started other dog, Mookie. Again, I was very happy with performance, and what's best, he did not mind!! I guess he was more comfortable with me than groomer :)After all, it took about two full charges to cut two dogs hair (13 and 18 lbs Shihtzsu/Shihpoo) And really, clipper did not stop, I just decided to stop when battery was almost discharged. To sum this up.Goods:1. Powerful2. Sharp - very easy to cut, and cuts very well3. Runs cool4. Quiet, not silent, but not annoying.5. Comes with different lengths combs (plastic)6. Light7. Will run when when connected to provided power supply8. I like battery level indicatorBads:Really, nothing. Kinda expensive, but after using it only once, IT WAS VERY MUCH WORTH IT!!!Things to remember:Clean the blades often, and oil them. (Small bottle of oil provided, but can buy bigger one for $4-5 where hair clippers are sold)

Professional Quality for Home Doodle Grooming
Doodle owners are no doubt finding their wonderful pets are very high maintenance, as we quicky discovered. The thick and tightly curled coat of our golden doddle seems to matt instantly, despite our best efforts to comb it daily. Grooming fees every six-eight weeks started to chip away at our budget. I don't begrudge the grooming fees, because it's a lot of work, but since we are retired, I need to stretch the money for other things. This isn't for everyone to tackle, but we decided to try clipping our doodle ourselves. This clipper performed flawlessy with the first use. It's solidly made, quiet, and easy to use as a cordless. There was plenty of charge to finish the trim. It will quickly pay for itself, albeit we have to be willing to put in the effort.

Very nice clippers
I bought these clippers to replace my Andis clippers which quickly became very hot while in use and also started to make a lot of noise. I did a lot of research before selecting these Wahl clippers and I'm very pleased with the results. They held their charge during the hour I was grooming my poodle. They are reasonably quiet and most importantly, the blade does NOT GET HOT. My miniature poodle was so much calmer when I groomed him with these clippers. I was happy to see that combs came with the clippers however the guard combs that came were either quite short or reasonably long. I thought the #4 comb would be a medium cut but unfortunatly my sweet poodle will be wearing his summer cut a little earlier than expected this year!! And in the meantime I've ordered a new set of combs that have a better selection of lengths.

quiet versatile and powerful
I have been grooming dogs for along time and used many different clippers and I am very impressed by these clippers. They are much quieter and have lots of power so they worked well on poodle thick winter coats as well as delicate faces.I strongly recommend them. The charge lasts a long time too.

Excellent Clipper, But Not Durable
I spent over a month obsessively researching clippers to use on my Brittany/Poodle mix. Her hair is fairly thin, but she mats easily and I wanted a clipper that would be strong and would last. I read countless reviews and ended up settling on the WAHL Bravura, though did note that people mentioned the breakable plastic mounts on the blade.I had one great cutting session with the puppy and, lo and behold, the next time we went to use the clipper, within seconds, the blade had slipped from my hand while in the bathroom (sitting on the floor, mind you) and one of the two plastic pieces snapped off. I am a careful person and was treating this clipper with care. I was EXCEEDINGLY disappointed, considering what this clipper costs and that I hope to use it for years to come. The clipper is working fine with the blade only attaching on one side, but I have come to realize that this clipper is not as heavy duty as it seems.Be forewarned before purchasing! But other than that, it's wonderful.
