This is a good quality burner which I have fitted to my home made furnace for melting metal. It is well made and works a treat!The on / off tap is pretty snug so turning it between off and on required a bit of effort (Maybe the men wont struggle...) especially since the lever is so small. I suspect it will ease up with prolonged use...For nervous types like me, I would like to see a longer hose attached as I feel the supplied hose is just a little short for my liking. That said, it is perfectly safe and does not detract from the fact that this is a fantastic burner and I would recommend it with absolute confidence.

I’ve used this to make my own gas-bottle furnace, and I’m delighted how effective it is.It reaches 950°C within ten minutes of ignition. It’s so effective I’m tempted to buy two more and build a double burner furnace for melting steel.Set up is easy, as is flame adjustment. The burner comes with a manual showing you how to adjust the flame for best results, and max flow rate (depending on the size of burner ordered).Definitely beats making your own, and I don’t hesitate to recommend buying this if you’re sitting on the fence wondering whether or not you should.

Brilliant piece of kit. This is my first propane burner, it's well made, has a good quality regulator and was simple to set up. It's easy to control far better than anything I could have built myself.I'd highly recommend it to anyone thinking of getting into forging, casting or raku

The burner is very good quality and works great , but the most impressive is their service. The regulator did not match our propane gas , I only asked if a 2 bar regulator will work for a replacement. They quickly replied and to my surprise gave me a refund to compensate for the regulator !!!

The burner arrived sooner than expected and was well packed. It was easily assembled and came with instructions. The burner is well made and heats the metal fast. I'm very impressed and will definitely buy again.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my home made ammo can forge. Its got more power than I need and I have to run it at about 1/4 of its capacity. Excellent piece of kit. Highly recommended. Look at the angle of the valve on my video and you will notice that it is hardly turned on. Nice to know that I can build a larger forge later, and this will still do the job. I tack welded my burner onto a plate that sits on top so that I didn't require any packing.

It is good Quality. Very happy with it can’t wait to get the Forge going.

j'ai acheté trois de ces brûleurs. Une forge et deux fours, cela fonctionne très bien. Chauffe à + de 1200° dans le four et dans la forge ! Très bien pour le bronze et l’alu. prévoir un réfractaire adéquat... je recommande.

I've built a custom forge(you tube tutorial) and it works excellent. Burner is an excellent piece of work. It would work for a forge at least double the size of mine. Simple and efficient, and most of all safe, very safe. I would recomand it for diy.
