great gloves, just need to get the sizing right
Okay so I am looking through past reviews and it looks like they are all a little older and everyone is saying they run large. They USED to run large. I ordered these same gloves about 3 years ago in black medium and they were a little big on me but I thought what the heck its okay for now and figured after washing them they would shrink a little ( they actually held up fantastic and didn't shrink). I use these about 3 times per week and really do love them, but I wanted another pair to have in between washing them so I ordered another pair for me and one for my sister. I ordered a medium and a large pair and this time the large pair was snug on me! so it seems to me they may have changed the sizing. I am 5'9 so I normally wear large gloves and in most other workout gloves I get a large- I'm considering ordering the x-large in these. Another little issue I found with this new pair that I ordered is that the velcro strap to close them seems to be unfinished on the inside part so it scratches my wrist slightly from the protruding plastic. Both pairs I ordered had this same issue. Overall though, I do really like these gloves- they are a great price, look cute and have lots of padding on your palm to prevent calluses. They give a good grip on weights, kettlebells and bars as well as a mat if you are doing some yoga or planks. The thumb is also made from a great terry cloth material to wipe away sweat!

Comfy, stylish, good for weight.
I lift a lot of weights, and have found these gloves to fit well, be comfy, and stylish. The only thing I would enhance (about ANY glove), is the length of the fingers. I have found my fingers to be my weakest point when lifting a lot of weight, (I can lift more than my fingers can hold), and I would possibly like a glove that covered past the first knuckle. As I have not tried other gloves (aside from leather gloves for pull-ups or biking gloves for biking), I am giving them 4 stars, b/c I feel that my fingers still don't have the exact grip I want. However these are padded well, with gelatinous pads on the palm for overhead lifting. My purpose was for looking for gloves to help with lifting heavy weights up toward the body, so these do not get a 5 for that.If you are not lifting heavy weights up toward your body (think deadlift), then these gloves are perfect. In fact, I am still going to use them as my heavy-weight gloves and just modify my exercises or do what i can with my fingers. Also the sizing chart worked exactly for me, not sure why the other customers had problems!

Great Gloves, Wish Site Offered a Sizing Chart
I lift weights regularly and started to get callouses on my hands, so I went seeking some gloves. I purchased these based on the good reviews. They are great, but I'm giving them only four stars because there is no sizing chart available. I had originally ordered these in a large because I thought that would be a safe bet: I'm 5'8," taller than most women I know, and based on my wrist size I have a "small large" frame. And I have to buy household gloves in a large. Well, these gloves in a large where too big, and of course when I went to order some in the next size down, they were back-ordered & I had to wait nearly a month, further callousing my hands. Once they arrived, I found them to be a great fit & quite comfortable. They in no way hinder my grip on the weights, they're cute, and and a portion of the proceeds goes to breast cancer research. A good buy, would definitely recommend.

Good Buy!
For 13 dollars, this is a steal. My hands were definately way more protected while lifting. Like others have already said, they do run big. I have an average/medium frame and my ring size is about a 7.5 or 8, and the small fits near perfect. The only thing that confuses me is that i have to make the wrist strap significantly tight in relation to the glove itself. It still is tight enough and doesn't look weird, it just seems like they were made for men's wrists rather than women's (and mine aren't very small). Still, I love them and they work perfectly for me. Just be aware if you are a tiny 100 pound woman with super dainty size 4 hands: you might need to go with another pair of gloves because and xs might not be small enough :( I don't think many people would need bigger than a size medium.

Great Gloves!
I've been looking for glove to replace my old ones and believe it or not that's not easy. I went to a huge sporting goods store and wasn't impressed by anything they had. I finally settled on a pair of Nike glove for $15. That was a waste. After 15 minutes of use I had to take them off. They were cutting off my circulation and digging into my skin between my fingers. It wasn't that they were too small (i have small hands and got mediums). If I would have gotten bigger gloves, there would have been too much bunching in the palms.I decided to go to Amazon, though I hate buying something like gloves when I can't try them on first. I figured I'll read some reviews and take a chance. I purchased the b-grl gloves because they were not too masculine and they were well reviewed. I have to say that I'm glad I did. These are very comfortable and don't cut into my hands at all. I would definitely buy these again.

Good lifting gloves
As other reviewers have mentioned, these gloves run large. I measured my hand at around 7.5 in. According to the chart in the picture, I am a small. The small gloves are still a little big. They are slightly, but not uncomfortably, loose across my knuckles. Whoever designed them must have giant tree trunks for wrists. You could remove the entire velcro strip on the back, and I could still fit my wrists in them.I have been using the gloves for lifting weights. I no longer get peeling blisters and callouses at the base of my fingers. The gloves provide better grip on the weights than I would have with bare hands. The padding is a good amount.Overall, a good purchase for the price.
