Q: Did you find this item clears babies nose much better and more quickly than a manual aspirator?

No. Unfortunately it doesn’t. For my opinion is a waste of money. It didn’t clear my daughter’s nose when she was ill, not even a little bit.

Q: Is this a closed system? Can snot get into the motor? Thanks

Recently mine started spraying out of the little air hole side. Somehow the snot is getting out of the glass part and into the main compartment. It's absolutely disgusting. No it's not at its maximum when this happens either.

This is amazing brand. It has worked wonderfully for 2.5 Year old . Clears stuffy nose and it is a big relief when it is handy to use. Much recommended.
