Organic Kampot Pepper - Rare Cambodian Peppercorns White 4 Ounce

I wanted a more authentic pepper for making things like hot and sour soup, which calls for a surprising amount of pepper. I loaded up a spare pepper grinder I had with this, so it's easy to use. This pepper is very distinctive, It seems very fresh and fragrant, with large berries, not broken or dusty in any way. It's hot in a totally different way than, say, red pepper flakes. It kind of numbs the tongue, a little, I am really enjoying it. It adds a definite flavor and sensation dimension above-and-beyond the ordinary to my hot and sour soup.

I purchased some Kompot pepper on a vacation in Cambodia but used it all up. Found this product to be very close to the local pepper. Has that unique strong pepper flavor without being harsh or hot. If you haven’t tried this pepper, you need this in your life. If you are searching for more of that pepper you knew from Cambodia, then this is the stuff!

Excellent flavor

Marinated my pork ribs with Kampot peppers, garlic, lemongrass and oyster sauce.This pepper is rich, soft, pleasant, and assertive. This is truly how peppers are supposed to taste.The ziplock packaging makes it easy to store, without having to look for rubber bands and ties.My order was delivered promptly with a lovely description from the seller.Oh, and my ribs? Delicious.

If this stuff is so rare then I almost want to say it's terrible so I never run out! This pepper is truly divine! It made me fall in love with pepper again

Peppercorns had spilled out of pouch through gap and more than ½ ended up in Amazon package, thus losing some of their flavor and aroma. At post office, even, scent of peppercorns was present before opening mailer! Normally these are great and are a family favorite.
