DECKYGI HybriCap, Heather Grey, One Size

Got this for my hubby, he wears it outside. It keeps his head warm & comfy, we live near a bunch of stores in Massachusetts, so the weather being cold everyday he'd rather walk down the road instead of drive, so he's always putting this hat on. I love this style on him. He looked on Amazon for many hrs trying to find the right hat he wanted, he chose this 1 at the end & is satisfied. It keeps him warm, but not overly hot as he gets hot easy. He has quite a few winter hats, but lately this has been his go to hat. Especially if we're going somewhere.

I am in my mid-70s with a decent amount of hair, but wear a cap on short (1-2 hr) winter walks. I like this "beanie" cap. It is lightweight and keeps my head & ears warm even on a brisk, windy day. The acrylic with an open "crochet-like" weave is okay on dry days but useless when it gets wet. My next winter "beanie" cap will have a slightly longer brim -- 2" brim is too short to shield your eyes from the low winter sun.

I really like this hat. Most caps of this style have way too thick of a fold above the visor brim, but this one is reduced like it should be. The material is soft and it fits very nicely. The top only has one large seam and one small seam across instead of three of the same like the originals, so it sticks up a little funny, but I’m sure a sewing machine and some manipulation could fix that. The dark brown colour is a lot darker in person than it appears online. It really is almost a black rather than dark tan looking colour like it appears to me in the photo. That’s the only thing I was a little disappointed with. But I really love it and it makes my adhd go brr so I’m definitely keeping it.

Clearly not for everyone, but fit me well. If you can put up with the potential excess of fabric mentioned in other reviews I think is up your alley.Let me explain: I have QUITE a bit a hair, but my job in food service demands to have it contained. I keep it under a spandex cap complimented by the uniform's baseball cap when venturing to work to save me some trouble, but I still like to have a fashion sense but even with the cap, the volume of my hair is still quite large and can be a minor punishment for winter months as I've learned.That's where this comes in. It managed to to fit almost perfectly around my head and cover my ears and some tame exposed hair is at the back of my head.Insignificant gripe: I wish the visor was large, the around of fabric over whelms it quite a bit, it's almost as if the visor shouldn't be there. I think it still looks nice though and was money well spent.Bonus point: Looks alot if not exactly the way it does in the picture out the box. On your head? Well, you find out.TL;DR: Not for small heads, but it works for me, so it might for you.

Not a bad hat overall. It doesn’t have a liner, and it does fit rather small. The stitching of the crease on top of the hat sticks up a bit as well. Won’t be my everyday hat, but I will wear it.

Certainly works and looks good (if you were going for the "Jeep Cap" look)Would really prefer a bigger brim though both for aesthetics and for blocking the sun.Not sure about the material. It's a sort of loose, light, sort of open weave. Feels lighter and more open-woven than any of my old ski caps.But it's bearing up so far.On the plus side, folds away smaller than other ski caps.Covers the ears very well and is quite warm when there is no wind.However (I suppose as a consequence of the open weave), when there is wind, it gets to the ears and neck more than ...more than it should.

Admittedly, I have a bit of a big head, and it may not help that I keep a shaggy hair style. This hat is just too small for me. I can get it on, but the pressure on my head is too much to take for long. Also, I prefer my hats to cover my ears. This hat only comes down to about mid-ear on my large head. The quality of the material is extremely nice and it only makes more upset that I probably won't be able to wear it much. The material is thick and warm. I've been trying to wear it in and stretch it out, but it's not yet gotten much easier to wear. A slightly larger size would make this a steal. The similar hats without the cuff, search for 'Solid campus jeep cap visor beanie', do fit nicer and use the same material.

This makes 3 DECKY jeep caps (one navy, one red, and now one black), and each has been a slightly different size. The Red was a bit small, and the cups of my headphones will slip out of the fold in the cap when I'm running around or bobbing my head to the music... or nodding during a conversation. The navy is a bit bigger, fits fine, the headphones don't slip out. The black is a bit bigger than the navy, and I can fit my entire Kinivo BTH-240 headphones inside the flap, or pull the flap down in the back for a little more neck protection. I love these caps, but wish they were a little more consistent.But at these prices, I can't really complain. I still need a few more colors for wardrobe matching, but these caps rock!
