Meets our needs perfectly! UPDATED - As long as its mounted with an old dish...
We ditched the dish for a Smart TV, but wanted a way to bring in the network channels. However, our cabin is over 50 miles away from the nearest television stations with two valleys and two mountain ridges in between. I tried a couple of those indoor antennas that claimed they could pick up 250+ miles away...and you can guess how that went. So this product was my last ditch effort. I tried it indoors first, hoping for an attic installation, but, with our metal roof, we got zip. So, I took it outdoors and plugged it into the coaxial cable on our old satellite dish, which is mounted on a post at the edge of our yard. That dish is only about 5' off the ground, and tucked in among some trees, and behind our campers - so, I wasn't expecting much. But despite this placement, it worked! The scan indicated that it picked up 15 channels. The reality was that it picked up 9 channels, seven of which are perfectly clear. That works for us! What a pleasant treat to have something work well right out of the box with little fuss.UPDATE: As mentioned in my previous review, I installed this antenna on an existing satellite dish which wasn't in the most optimal position. So I decided to try it on it's own on a higher pole, hoping to bring in the PBS stations and clear up one of the network stations that was coming in a little spotty now and then. Fortunately I already had materials laying around for the project. But after I mounted it on the new pole and rescanned for channels, the TV only picked up 7 channels, with just one that would come in clearly! Obviously, our old dish aids in the reception for this antenna. So, I took it down and assembled it the way I had it previously, and got everything back the way it was. Just glad I didn't buy materials specifically for this project, as I would have been disappointed.

Very Low Profile
I really like this simple and Low Profile Antenna. Great picture, easy to install, powerful, for me it scanned 37 to 50 channels. You can rotate and scan a few times till you have your main channels tuned in.

Works great for UHF only
Our new home is very energy efficient with a foil lined roof and double pane tinted windows. Our panel antenna didn't work well and pixelated badly, and the towers are less than 10 miles away.I bought this antenna and it brought in channels from neighboring cities, while failing to bring in any VHF channels. That was an oversight on my part as several of our stations still broadcast on VHF. I added a VHF retrofit kit, mounted both antennas outside under the eaves and I now have 73 crystal clear channels. Its not unsightly under the eaves and works very well.

Did not work for me.
This antenna did not work well at all. It got only 2 channels and they were local. My rabbit ears antenna gets 12 channels and it is inside the room the tv is in. However I had purchased a GE ULTRAPRO HOVER HD AMPLIFIED ANTENNA 55 MILE RANGE AND PUT IT INTO MY ATTIC PRIOR TO GETTING THIS ONE. Because it gave me 44 channels is why I bought this one 60 MILE OUTDOOR OR ATTIC MOUNT ANTENNA to put outside but it would not work outside or in my attic. So I sent it back for a refund and bought 2 more GE ULTRAPRO HOVER HD ANTENNAS AND WILL FIX ONE TO MOUNT OUTSIDE ON A ROTATOR TO HAVE A VERY GOOD OUTDOOR ANTENNA THAT WORKS.

This is a great antenna
I had one of these antennas in my last home, I don't believe it was a GE product but the same design (guessing GE bought the copyright). In our last home I simply removed an old TV satellite from it's bracket, hooked up the new antenna, connected the cable, added the signal booster before connecting to the TV and it got great reception. My newer installation was a little trickier, according to a couple websites that tell you what channels you can pick up, they said at best I could hope to pick up one channel. We are in very hilly terrain without line of sight to the broadcasting towers (which are 28 miles away). One channel was acceptable given we are in a remote location. We have satellite internet which, we use to stream Sling and Hulu but had no local channels for news. The antenna arrived yesterday and I quickly hooked it up to a cable I routed to our basement and left the antenna sitting on our deck rail. After programming, without hooking up the supplied signal booster, we got nothing. I hooked up the booster and we were able to pick up 5 channels with a perfect picture. Today I'm going to mount it on the roof and will reprogram to see if we are able to pick up more channels. This small antenna is fantastic!

Better than expected 100+ Channels
The media could not be loaded. I really like the look of the antenna… fits right in next to my “not working” Dish. Very stealth looking and the colors match. Scanned over 100+ channels.. some are music, news and spanish.. the picture is very good on most channels. From 480i to 4k or (1080) no really sure exactly but I have a 4k HDR roku tv 55in

Consider other options
Bought since advertised as mountable under roof eave, previously had a flat antenna mounted just below eave which worked effectively but broke. Unfortunately this antenna is inferior in its reception (tried with and without included amplifier). Now, trying a coax splitter to add second antenna to see if reception improves.
