One of the best aids I have found for hand impairment
I recently suffered a spinal cord injury that has left me with my predominant arm and hand paralyzed and my other hand impaired. My occupational therapist showed me these and i thought they might work. They do work and work very well. I am now, for the first time in months able to use utensils to feed myself both at home and in restaurants.I wouldn't have thought 6oz of weight and different position would have made such a huge difference but it does and has truly made my life a little easier and dignified. Once they have been bent into the right position they offer a sturdy fork use and easy to use spoon. They wash up great and don't get dishwasher stained. I have only had them 2 weeks but they are proving to be one of the best aids I have found so far. I have contacted the manufacturer about being able to buy the spoons and forks individually so I have them for use without having to have them washed after every use. These are a great value both from a life perspective and cost.

These work very well. The added weight really helps.

Great But Handles Can Break
These utensils are great - except the handles can break. The outer handle (grip) broke apart from the inner handle. We slid the grip back on and tried to glue it, but it didn't work. These utensils still seem the best available, though, so we got new ones.

Would have been a great product
Ordered the set because my wife suffers from Parkinson's and has trouble with conventional utensils. I ordered the set because I thought it would be beneficial.. Quality construction, great, easy to grip handles and the ability to bend the fork and spoons to facilitate her feeding herself. Unfortunately, the weight of the utensils was a bit much for her limited strength, so I have to return them. No fault at all of the product. Her strength is simply too weak for her to hold them. Seeking a lighter weight alternative.

Wonderful!
My husband has Parkinson's. He wasn't twisting his wrist to bring his eating utensils to his mouth. He always ate off the side or, some kind of way, twisted the spoon in his mouth and it would get stuck side ways. These have been a life saver! I'm able to bend them as needed and he can scoop his food and feed himself.

A Company standing behind its product.
My husband has Parkinson and what a great product this is. Some of the simplest things we take for granted when we have our health and no issues with holding utensils.

Parkinson’s help
The handles are very heavy and hard for my Parkinson’s patient to hold

Good Silverware described!
My friend whom I bought them for loved these and expressed it was quite thoughtful of her condition.
