The Salt Company Dishwasher Salt - 1x2kg

Salt is pretty much salt for dishwasher use - it doesn't have to be air dried sea flakes or anything fancy, so just get the best value you can is my motto for this item. This bulk pack was the best combination of size to value I could find on the internet - you can get a bigger bag - say a sack of 25kg but you only use a couple of kg a year in a dishwasher so I'd have the sack for about twelve years. This is better as it is only a few pence a kilo more but is easy to store in the cupboard under the sink. It is food quality too, so if you wanted to, you could fill up your salt shaker with it as well! The other thing that made it good value was that the 25kg bags I saw had postage fees on top which were a large proportion of the overall cost whereas I have Amazon prime so there was no postage charge for this. An easy 5 Stars and my highest possible recommendation.

I have been unable to buy the large sacks of dishwasher salt for a very long time and in desperation bought these small packs. I now wouldn't buy my salt any other way as the small packs are easier to store and worked out no dearer than the huge bags I used to get from the garden centre. In addition, by only opening one small bag at a time there is no danger of the salt getting damp. I keep one under the kitchen sink ad the others in a cupboard in the garage. Win win situation and the salt works well in my machine.

Cheaper than big brands and does just as good a job but it doesn't seem to last quite as long as Finish.

A life-time’s supply!

Haven’t been able to get dishwasher salt in supermarkets for ages so eventually looked on Amazon. Good price and each bag fills my machine perfectly so no part-used, open bags being stored and at risk of spillage.

Works well. 2kg packaging is a plus compared to 5kg.

We just get these over and over because we need it for the dishwasher. It works as well as it's supposed to. Fit for purpose, no complaints.

All the bags were ripped and leaking salt. Luckily they are in a larger bag so I was able to scoop out the leaked salt. Good value for money.
