This food has been a hit with my cat. She eats it eagerly and always finishes her bowl, which isn’t always the case. The kibble size works well and it seems easy for her to chew. I like the quality ingredients and that it provides complete nutrition. Since switching, she’s been happy, active, and satisfied. I’ll definitely keep buying this.

We adopted a Main Coon mix that was weaned from milk onto wet food. After a year of spending a crazy amount of money feeding our Maine Coon mix only cans of wet food, I decided that it was time she would have to eat dry food like our other two cats. After some research and experimenting it seemed that she was drawn to the smell of food so I initially purchased Royal Canin Aroma Select at a whopping $16.99 for 3 pounds. After getting her to eat dry food exclusively, I again researched for a reasonably priced cat food that would appeal to picky cats, specifically cats drawn by scent. Fancy Feast dry food fits that bill. Although pricier than many options, this cat food has features that make it superior to many others. First, the food is small and very thin, almost flaky. I think this is great for cats who are more picky as to texture. Although the food isn't smelly, all three of my cats could smell it and started rubbing against the bag once it was opened. Second, the ratios of protein, fat, and carbohydrate are better than many foods available. Lastly, the food seems to be somewhat calorie dense so the daily serving is less with this food than with many others. While double or triple the price of many other brands available, it is much less than the $16.99 for 3 pounds I was previously spending. We found a winner.

Don’t laugh/judge, please. My outdoor camera caught a cat in my driveway during a very cold winter. I started to worry about it and started leaving food outside. Fast forward to today…It seems like the neighbor cats (they really don’t look like strays) that are let out at night have spread the word that the corner house has a buffet…and it’s GOURMET! I initially put a lower priced dry food outside and the camera would show the cats come up, sniff and leave. The audacity, right? I mean, it’s the after hours free buffet! I purchased Fancy Feast and they come running! It is a bit pricier, but they love it. I chuckle every time I think about their owners wondering why their cat is putting on weight… Bottom line…cats LOVE IT!
