Inexpensive and work well
These are super handy. Inexpensive extruded plastic. My wife and I use them on SWA flights without screens in seatbacks. Unclip tray, place this clip, re-fasten tray. Basically you are wedging this in. Simple and effective. It doesn't squeeze your phone, the phone just sits on it, and it is slippery plastic, so the phone will fall off with takeoff and/or landing bumps, but it is great in normal flight. They do what they need to do without a bunch of extra unnecessary frippery. They are handy to have the pair in my standard backpack underseat. And if I lose them or forget them, they aren't pricey enough for me to be bummed. I bought 2 other pairs for a family trip, 6 people, everyone had one.

Wow! This products works perfect!!
I have heard so much about this little clip from my friend who swears by it. So I purchased the SkyClip right before a trip. I have so say that it worked perfectly holding my phone at the perfect angle to view a movie. It took seconds to open the tray table and hook the clip and close the tray. When I got a meal the SkyClip sat on the tray table allowing me to continue watching. This is a great, inexpensive, simple item to take every time you fly. This is a must have!

Simple and Functional.
It gets the job done. I used it a few times on international flights. Long term I got a different solution that but I bought this two pack for my girlfriend and I before a trip. It does easily clip into the seat back on a plane and supports the weight of large phones. Nothing fancy. It's a hard red plastic material and easy to find in your bag due to the bright color.

Hand phone stand
These came in handy on our longer flight to Vegas. I could also just rest it on the seat back tray.

Should be improved
We have used this product for over 40 hours collectively on various planes and have feedback on the design. Pros: simple to use, easy to set up, works as described. Cons: Edges are too sharp, the part has a design flaw and has visible strain, and it is really hard to pack. Recap: While we first noticed how simple to use the SkyClip is on any plane with a tray, we had a hard time finding a good spot for it in our bags. The angle and size makes it really hard to fit in or around other things while maintaining easy access in a bag. The design would allow for a simple hinge function without losing enough strength to not function. Additionally, the design as a one-piece has a major weak point at the position the tray to hold the device and the rest of the clip meet. We have seen dramatic strain in the plastic there from simple use. This was exacerbated when I bumped it with my head when reaching for my bag. Which leads to the next problem, the sharp edges and corners. I cut my head open when bending over and hitting the SkyClip. While the bleeding was very minimal, the mark and dent in my forehead was notable. Final recommendations: consider the skyclip as a simple solution to the issue of mounting your phone to the seat in front of you in Economy flights. There are better solutions for premium/business/first class flights. The maker may want to consider a revision with a hinge to fold the device tray up and round the corners of the plastic so that it is not sharp. I will not recommend this to friends, but I have started to look at modifying it to better fit my need.

So simple, but so useful
I got tired of holding my phone to watch movies while on an airplane. Saw this and decided to give it a try. It is compact so it fits in my briefcase and does not take up hardly any room. I used it just like the pictures, clipped to the seatback tray. It was secure, even with mild turbulence. Simple design, works well, what more can you ask for? I recommend the Skyclip seatback clip.

Too narrow to fit many airlines, try tabletHookz Instead.
Doesn’t fit - Unfortunately the area on the skyclip for fixing to the back or airline trays is too narrow for many airlines. It’s a nice idea, but being only 8cm thick it won’t fit on many of the airline trays out there now. By way of comparison there is another product on the market called ‘TabletHookz’ and their hook width is 10.8cm with compression foam to fit various widths of trays. Also the TabletHookz are a lot narrower and come with a soft material carry bag and neatly fits in your pocket, the skyclip is quite thick and so its not going to fit in your pocket at 4cm wide, vs tablethookz at 1cm wide, albeit there are two TabletHookz per set. The other issue with the skyclip is that it is not going to hold my device securely on a plane or a train where there is motion, the idea of having my 1000USD device sat in the sky clip balancing is a worry vs the tablethookz which have securing hooks that firmly hold your device in place. So I suppose if you don’t mind the skyclip not fitting wider (more common) trays, being big and bulky and not having any securing mechanism to keep your expensive bit of kit safe in turbulence or when the passenger sat in front bangs around in their chair then they’re ok. Personally I prefer the security that comes with the tablethookz and it fitting more planes and trains, and it can be used in the car too, but it is a bit more expensive at $19.99 delivered. Alternative product, tabletHookz with wider hook to fit more airlines https://www.amazon.com/TABLETHOOKZ-Include-securing-Feature-Compatible/dp/B07W8XGW4T Alternative product, tabletHookz with wider hook to fit more airlines https://www.amazon.com/TABLETHOOKZ-Include-securing-Feature-Compatible/dp/B07W8XGW4T

I bought 4 of these for a recent family trip to Mexico. They worked great on the 737 seat back but not as well on the 787 seat backs. They work great as a stand alone on a counter if you are following a recipe on a phone or for a zoom call etc. Great product, highly recommended

Lo compre para usarlo durante los vuelos pero no cabe en la masita cerrada, así que solo sirve en superficies planas

Great concept except the slippery plastic means even with a rubber case your phone wants to fly by itself straight out of the holder at the slightest bump or plane movement.

Bought these to use on the long plane rides on our vacation. Slide easy on the back of the seats, enabling you to watch movies looking straight ahead rather than your neck drooping the whole way.. works well with phone, do not know if it works for tablets…

Purchased for an 8 hour flight. Worked great connecting to a KLM plane and stayed for the duration of the flight. I now use it daily to FaceTime
