I ordered 2 sets this time (they are the same exact candles as from first seller). ALL candles received were defective junk. Some didn't light up at all. For the ones that did, they have a fake looking left to right tic-toc motion, no flame effect... The loud clicking noise they make are unbearable and almost laughable... As of writing this review, they have all stopped working and going into the trash bin.My recommendation; don't waste your time and money...

Do not waste your money. I have replaced the batteries so many times. If you leave the lights on the “on” position, it drains the battery. So why bother having a remote if you need to turn off the candles only to have to turn them on again to use the remote. And the remote is garbage as well. After replacing all the tea light battery’s for the third time. The remove doesn’t even work any more (I replaced the batter on that as well.). I’ve only had these about 8 months. I would not recommend. I would give it zero stars if I could.

I wish I would have bought different candles instead of these. I'd send them back if I still had the packaging they came in. I've replaced the batteries twice already so I know it's not just bad batteries. Because the tealights themselves are kept on the on position so you can use the remote to turn them on and off whenever you'd like. The only thing is that they drain your battery so you have to replace the batteries ever week or so. I'd really expect them to last a bit longer than that. Great idea but horrible follow through. They don't last at all. I haven't tried using the off switch when not using them but then what's the point of having the remote.

The candles worked beautifully when I first got them. I only tested them out after putting them into candle holders. I didn't use them until I had company and thought the ambience would be lovely. They never worked! None of the 6 candles would light. The battery couldn't possibly be dead, they were only turned on for minutes. Totally disappointed and I want to return them for a full refund.I would give them 0 stars if possible!

I really wanted to like these! The remote is a cool feature, and the tea lights look realistic enough. I had them on for a few hours (1-2) a couple nights over 2 weeks. I went to turn them on the other day and they were dead. I guess you get what you pay for? Now I need to look into spare batteries. Probably should have stuck with the Luminara brand.

My friend bought the Luminara ones at $25 each. There was no remote, and they do not dim. Neither of us can tell the difference in the candles or light effects.These are fantastic. I have one in a colored glass star lantern, one in a deep selenite holder, two in deep rose quartz holders and the remote works through the stone and glass. They look phenomenal. The dimmer is an added plus.It has been over two weeks and my batteries are still working.

These candles looked perfect for what I wanted. However, they last less than 2 weeks when on for 5 hours a day. I'm suspecting that the remote drains the batteries. This is very disappointing since the continued purchase of batteries is now costing more than the original purchase for the candles.

These candles were as good as the name brand lifelike flame candles. The flickering flame is so real looking everyone always do a double take. I also really like that you can set the time for different hour ranges.
