Didn't realise that the uk shoes size has multiple scales ...

Didn't realise that the uk shoes size has multiple scales. Since the sizes started so small (size 3 UK) I assumed size 13.5 UK was my adult fit, but I got shoes smaller than my hands. Since these came from the US I didn't return the shoes and sent them on to my nephews, who will eventually be big enough to use child size 13.5 UK.
