This item is sherpa lined and extremely warm. It helps keep your ears covered and is better than a hood on a jacket.

The material is comfortable and soft. It does keep my chin, mouth, and head warm; however, no matter how much I tighten it, my ears are always cold. I can't get the material to lay close enough to cover my ears. Overall I am happy with this product.

This is not a bad hat, but I bought it so my face wouldn't freeze when riding my e scooter in upstate NY winters. I would say it's good for temps 35 F and above. If you are just walking around outside it would probably be ok. The fit and the doggle is nice to cinch it with. It is soft and washes well so far. I wish it was longer through the neck. Seems shorter than what is shown in the picture.
