So yes, this a leather holster made in China. Once you get over that and look it over, it will impress you. I have a box of holsters like many people who carry a lot. I have spent anywhere from $30 to $125 for a leather OWB holster to varying degrees of satisfaction. For $16, this holster is a steal. Here is what I like*Leather Holster with a high enough sweat guard to protect you from the 1911's tendency to gouge my side when sitting.*The holster is sewn in a radius to match my hip and it pulls the firearm in close .* Will fit three of my large frame firearms that are all different makes. Glock, Kimber, Springfield, it's all working.*The choice of a cant is awesome and helps with comfort.What I don't like*Thin leather. I expect it to stretch and deform within a year and end up in the landfill.*Single stitch for most of it with lightweight thread. The thread is not waxed so it will stain.For the money, a year of comfort is welcome. I think I will buy another for a back up.

Good size

This is not a tight fit, very thin leather, feels cheap, not great quality but fits both of my 1911’s good. For the price it’s not bad, gets the job done, but I don’t see it holding up or lasting a long time. Who knows maybe it will surprise me.

I bought this because of price and it's leather. All I can say is I was pleasantly surprised. While this maynot be the best leather holster, it is definitely a keeper. I were it with my full size Tisas 45 fit perfect andkeeps it tight next to my body feels asesome almost not noticeable. The stiching is single stick all around the holster but where its Holds the pistol it is double stiched that is very importand since thats where it'sabsolutely necessary so it won't fall apart. For the money it don't get any better than this. It may only last a few year before needing to be replaced so I'm buying an extra one. Definitely recommend, Ok it's madein China unfortunately so is almost everything we buy nowadays, don't like that but still a recommended buy, plus the extra belt loop to carry canted works great.

I have spent hundreds trying to find a comfortable holster for EDC of my M1911. the search is over, this is the best holster I've found, and very affordable. we'll see how it holds up as others seem worried about this

The leather was very flimsy and thin, with a strange texture to it. Not high quality material, I didn't trust the thin leather to actually hold the pistol and it showed signs of already stretching out too much in the two days I had the pistol in it to give it some memory.Returned the item and was swiftly refunded, which was a plus.
