A pleasant surprise
I hurt my back and can't sleep flat on my back or on my left side. I use a CPAP so I can't sleep on my stomach either. I am restricted to only sleeping on my right side, night after night. This puts the heel of my left foot in contact with the bed all night long. After a few months of sleeping this way I discovered that I had developed some type of contact sore that was very painful. But what to do? For a while I slept with a soft shoe on my left foot, but it made my foot very warm and that made it difficult to sleep. Then, one day, I had a bright idea - check Amazon to see if anyone else could recommend something. And that is how I found this product - a specially designed Heel Cushion "pillow slipper". You slip it onto your foot, close the hook and loop fastener and go to bed. That's it. The slipper is very soft and after a bit you barely feel it. Also, the hook and loop closer keeps it on your foot for the whole night. At first it came off so I started using paper tape to hold it on for the night. But after a few nights I decided to skip the tape and I just make sure to close the fastener tightly. It holds very well and is quite comfortable. Ok, now to the good part >>> It works a treat! My heel is still resting on the bed, but the plush softness of the slipper keeps it from getting sore. Now that I am using this slipper, I can see my heel is getting better and doesn't hurt any more! Glad I found it. I was skeptical, because I expected it to be too warm, too easily lost in the bed during the night, or too uncomfortable. It was none of those things! And I highly recommend it to anyone who, like me, suffers from "a bed sore on the heel". Give it a try. Excellent product and not expensive.

Awesome for elbow protection during cubital tunnel surgery recovery
This is an excellent device for anyone recovering from cubital tunnel surgery in the elbow. I had surgery in January and as anyone who has had this surgery knows, the surgical site pain lasts about 4 months post-op and you can't stand to rest your arm on anything hard. The pain is too much. In fact, you can't even sleep well without something soft and cushy under your elbow. My surgical site runs along the back of the elbow but close to my body. It's in a bad spot for being touched, bumped, etc. Plus, I'm a habitual leaner. Anyway, I tried slip on foam dressing sleeves, but they were too tight or abrasive. I even tried to make one myself with no luck. I saw this and thought it looks like exactly what I need. I know this is for feet, but it is perfect for the elbow! I just got it in the mail and have it on right now. I'm so pleased! This can help so many people.

Needs more pad on heel
This is ok. I kept it and it helps, but it would be better with more padding on the heel. The heel is the area that rests on the bed with the most weight- so I feel it needs more padding there. This is going to sound rediculous but my dog ALWAYS sleeps with his head/chin resting on my leg down by my ankle (im a back sleeper). So I was starting to get sore spots on my heel from the pressure. I ordered this to solve the problem because of course I can’t stop my dog from sleeping like that. That’s his favorite spot! Lol. So my heel is less sore- but still not perfect because, like I said, it just needs more padding at the heel. I thought this was important to point out in case people are using it on someone who is non-verbal. I think it would be ok for someone without the added weight of a dog’s head pushing on their leg, but my guy is a frenchie so he is small. Plus, some people’s legs are very heavy- so more padding at the heel is important. The fact that i just wrote this long review on this item makes me laugh. Anyway hope it helps someone.

So very helpful for sensitive feet
I have small fiber neuropathy, and these pillow cushion protectors are a life saver at night when I'm trying to sleep. The neuropathy makes it feel as though the sheet touching my feet is breaking every bone in my foot. Extremely painful and while I work with my doctors and pain care specialists these little pillows help cushion my heels from the weight of my own feet against the mattress/sheet and surrounding space. Really have been a sleep saver for me. You wouldn't believe that a funny little pillow could provide so much comfort and relief. Grateful to have found these. Thank you.
