Tedious work but love the picture!
A few observations after having received my kit and started.1- shake paint well before you open. The looser, more mixed paint the easier it spreads and is able to control and stay in the lines. When the paint gets thick it's harder to manipulate. (Water soluble while wet so you can wet your brush and dip into paint to help thin it. Light paint sometimes is too light doing this and may require multiple coats)2- the brushes provided aren't the best quality but they do get the job done. Obviously for the price you pay that's expected. I did snip the ends of two of them because they had 'strings' kind of on them and it made it easier to manipulate after that.3- I ran out of black paint and had to buy more elsewhere. Hope I don't run out of any 'color' because matching would be hard. Will update if I run out of anything else.4- I don't have 20/20 eyesight but I'm close and there are some numbers so small it's hard to make out. I advise having a magnifying glass handy for those without 20/20! THANK GOODNESS they provide the printout copy with the numbers as well - has been a godsend in several instances already! It's a HUGE help!5- good lighting is a must for doing this!6 - use a warm iron on the backside (not the numbered side) to flatten before you begin - this will remove the creases that it has in it and will give you a flat surface to work on!This is a slow and tedious project. The first picture I provided is after 3 days of painting. Keep in mind that's about 30 minutes because after 10 I'm finished! haha The second picture is one after I finished. I LOVE IT!That said, I ran out of black and yellow paint and had to buy more at the craft store. It didn't match exactly but this painting has so much detail and so many things going on you can't tell it!I would advise you make sure you don't let your paint dry out too much or get too thick. Add a dash of water at a time to thin it until you get it where you want. Some colors were dryer/thicker than others. Don't worry about thinning your paint too much. The only side effect of doing that is that you may have to paint over the same spot MULTIPLE times to cover the letter.I checked with my local craft store to see what they would charge me to stretch this over canvas and was quoted $45. So if you want the stretched natural look on these paint by numbers on canvas it's more affordable to buy it already stretched if the option is presented.

Easy. Fun :)
My daughter started this years ago and abandoned it. She was about 9 at the time. I 'touched it up' for her the other day. Old paints had long dried. Made a different scheme and colors. Entirely fun. Can't be so serious when painting something so fun :)

Cute and simple
My five year old granddaughter loved this gift but numbers on print were too small to clearly follow

Hope it’s as cute as the picture.
There were many negative reviews for this cute painting. I want to dispel the bad reports. First, many reviewers said the wrinkles could not be removed from the canvas. I used my steam iron & a little bit of spray on Downy wrinkle release on the back of the canvas. With caution I was able to make it lay flat. I plan to take it to Hobby Lobby for framing when I’m finished. That will take care of the few lines left. Even if I don’t take it, I’d be satisfied with it. Second, many people said the paint was dried up & some pots were empty. Not so. All the pots were full of creamy paint. Last, some mentioned the tiny numbers. Ha ha! That’s the nature of paint by numbers. They have obviously never done one before. Only gave 4 stars because I haven’t done any painting on it yet. When I finish, I’ll update my review.

Very relaxing, you’ll like these.
I bought this, my first paint by numbers, to have something to do that was relaxing. I’m very glad I did this, I really enjoyed this so much I’ve bought a couple more. This painting comes folded up fairly small, so you do have to iron out the creases, I used a steam setting, and turned the canvas face down. It was easy. Once you do that, you can roll it into a tube until you can put it on some sort of stiff backing. I used corrugated plastic board, ( the kind real estates use for their FOR SALE signs ) you can get it on amazon, or in any discount store or office supply. This first one, I took and had it placed on this board by a shop. But, after I saw how simple it was, I did the next ones by myself , using that board and a can of spray adhesive. It was easy.If you are looking for a relaxing past time, I recommend you try these. You will probably have to buy a few more paint brushes, because you’ll need a few different sizes.

Love the Image, Dried Paint is Disappointing
Going happily along & I get to #18, open to find it completely dried out. Now what do I do? How do I finish my picture?Company never responded to my complaint about the dried paint.I ended up combining some paint from another set & got a close color match. The finished results were great!I’m doing a series of this style for each of my critters & this one fit our feral Princess the best. When I first brought her home she hissed at me constantly…hence the angry cat face, four years later she’s a happy spoiled cuddle bug who just meows loudly when she wants love.

Really Fun Painting
This was my second PBN and it was a lot of fun to paint. I had some challenges with the small, thin lines, but that is inexperience. The colors were good and the paint was in fairly good condition as well. Plenty of paint provided.

Easy to do & very colorful.
I love the picture, I have done many with the black background, it’s the paint! Almost all the pots are dried up like this kit has been sitting on a shelf for years! I have never received a painting kit with this problem. I have been adding lots of water and soaking the pots, & it works but it is quite inconvenient. To answer some of the other reviewers I always use blank canvases and stretch the picture & staple it. For the paint situation I am very disappointed in this company that there wasn’t better quality control. Oh yeah and the colors, I too have 4 pots of #5 & 1 pot of #1 which is the background sounds like someone messed up! I will just use the # 5’s, sadly the background won’t be dark black like intended but I may have enough black from other kits I can use. If all else fails I can just go buy a big bottle of black at hobby store. 🤷♀️

It's not a stretched canvas.
I bought some of these paint by numbers kits before but this time I was a bit shocked to find it was just a sheet of canvas folded up very small. I hope it will iron out okay as it's a Christmas present. If I had not really liked the picture I would have returned it.Edit : After I started it became apparent that the colours were nothing like the ones on the product page, they are just not that bright, also a lot of my paint pots had very congealed paint. It's almost impossible to iron it out flat, it's been folded too small for too long. I will finish it, but it's not great.

Good product
This was my first paint by numbers set and it was brilliant. There was a lot of black that needed to be painted so they supplied me with 4 blacks which was really useful. The lines were good and weren’t too thin.

It's addictive.... Loved it
I bought this to alleviate the boredom of being furloughed. I am not artistic in any way and not the most patient of people but needed to try something to keep me occupied. Kit arrived quickly and had everything included, the canvas needed to be ironed but not a problem and I could quickly start on my new project.I loved it, was easy to follow with vibrant colours and would easily loose myself for a couple of hours, I loved watching the picture emerge gradually and quickly became addicted. I now just need to get it framed as it will be out up as I am so proud of it. 😊I'm already on my next picture.

Not really for children
I bough the tiger picture. It is very detailed and large. The box says - from 6 years old. Bought for 9 year old who came to stay. It is also listed on a site that sells only games and toys for children as suitable for 8 -10years old but myself found it hard work with many numerous tiny areas to paint. We did it off and on for 3 days and it still is no where near finished. For adults dedicated to this media.

Easy and stress free
Easy and great for beginners, I've got a couple of other paint by numbers coming that are more intricate and this one is a great one to practice on. Easy to do and has all that you need in the kit, there's more paint in the pots than you will need which is brill. You have to order yourself a frame and staple It which for a novis it was easy enough to do. I would recommend it.
