Q: Is it supposed to stop spinning after some time or as long as it’s plugged it needs to be spinning?

The winder is not constantly spinning. I haven't timed it yet, but when it stops movement there is enough time to remove the watch and put a different watch in the winder. I do this regularly without a problem. Also, the winder is totally silent. It is in our bedroom, pretty near my side of the bed, and I never hear a thing.

Q: Do you like this product?

It's just - OK. IT started out VERY quiet. After a few weeks it became quit GROWLY! Also, a few times it wouldn't turn-on. I eventually get it going, but haven't discovered the source of the problem (unit or power supply).

Q: What’s the point of this? Why does a watch need to be wound? This is the first time seeing something like this.

A self winding watch's spring is kept wound by the motion of the wearer's arm during the day. If you wear several watches and don't wear the same one every day, the watch will stop and needs to be set every time you want to wear it. A watch winder keeps the watch running even while not being worn so that it can just be put on whenever you wish.

Q: will this product work on a seiko kenetic watch??

I have a Seiko Kinetic Perpetual. I bought a different brand of winder but they are all basically the same. It didn't work. My watch stopped after about 2 weeks. These winders don't simulate enough movement to move the Seiko generator in the watch.
