With proper alignment this Grill is a champ!
My only concern with this grill is that one of the top grill pieces snapped at the hinge point after one or two uses, but after using it a dozen times, it still works and works great. Not sure what others are speaking of with regards to the top sliding. Maybe they aren’t positioning the whole unit correctly so that it sits down into the “basin” properly. A tip for all, put the folding parts opposite on each point. Meaning with the base, it has a folding point, don’t put the main basin folding points the same direction, switch them, then switch the top grill folding point opposite of the basin. I’m not sure I can illustrate this, but will update my post with some photos later

for the price of $25 this is a good deal.
better quality then expected holds up good to the heat. you must clean after each use to prevent buildup and to insure long life of the grill. its a grate compact grill for spur of the moment beach trips with the wife. With planning out the menu and cook times you can grill for 2 or up to 6 however with 6 people you would need food warmers to insure the food stays hot but that's defeating the purpose of the grill. it would be better to do a yakiniku style cooking setting for up to 6 people. definitely will purchase again when old one dies just hope price will remain the same even if popularity of this grill goes up. $25 is the sweet spot for the price.

Cheap but works great
We got this for day camping at the lake. Figured it might be useful. We figured right! The unit comes folded in a carry case and takes less than a minute to set up. We put 14 briquettes in it and after about 15 minutes it was ready to cook. 12 hotdogs or 4 burgers will fit on it easily enough. The dogs were placed between the mesh instead of across it to keep them from rolling. The 14 briquettes (Kingsford) gave us enough cooking time for 12 dogs, 8 burgers and it still had about 30+ minutes of cook time left. (we got almost 1.5 hours out of it) Clean up was fast and easy and pack up was almost as fast as the set up. We were only cooking for 6 people and the 12" x 12" cooking surface was adequate, for the price it was a good deal.

Heavy!
This thing has a build quality many times over AVAD I expected! I was expecting something that might last a year, at the most. This thing is clearly designed & cfosteucyed to last many years. Having said that, that extra build quality comes with a price. It’s much more bulky (collapsed) and heavier than I expected, by a lot. For backpacking and/or kayaking, it definitely adds to your load. So it’s kinda a toss up. I’d have been happy with something with half the build quality and weight & bulk for just a little less money. Everyone would win.

Perfect calapsible grille
Just grilled steak. For a calapsible grille that near vanishes, this is perfect. All heavy stainless steel. The panels are hemmed over so no sharp edges. I assembled with hinges on the base opposite the panels and opposite the grid. The hinged grid has catches so it won't calapse. Does it move? A little. A grab on the edge with tongs does it.I'll keep it with the spare tire. While I never need another, I'm tempted.

Super easy to use
Love using this when there is not a fire ring at camp, leave no trace is so important and this allows you to have a fire and cook then just pack down and disperse the ashes. Never know you were there, lovely! The grill part is a bit tricky to seat and wish it would set 1/2" lower inside the frame so it will stay in place while cooking...accident waiting to happen whether a burn or dinner tossed onto the ground. Love it otherwise and will continue to use it.

Good small grill
This little grill is cool. I got it to save space in my camper, it does that for sure. I cooked a couple steaks on it the first time I used it, the came out very good. I was a little concerned at first because it didn’t look real sturdy but it was.

Great value
The media could not be loaded. Pretty good value for the price. Only issue I have is the grill doesn't sit right. It kind of floats around but it'll do the job for grilling hot dogs at the beach and for bond fires this summer.
