Aqua Joe AJSGH100 1/2-Inch Heavy-Duty, Puncture Proof Kink-Free, Spiral Constructed 304-Stainless Steel Metal, Garden Hose, 100-Foot

I've always avoided this metal hose because of the price and also because I thought it was a gimmick. My father-in-law has had this hose for a couple of years now, and he has raved about it from Day 1. After throwing away another 'regular' water hose from Home Depot, I decided to finally give the Aqua Joe Stainless hose a try.So far, this thing is a dream - lightweight, kink-free, and with minimal storage space needed. Although I've had my Aqua Joe for only a few months, I still gave 'durability' 5 stars due to my father-in-law's experiences. However, I will revise that if needed later.Bottom line is that the Aqua Joe Stainless Water Hose is worth the money so far. No more making the annual donation to the local big box store for regular hoses that will not last. In fact, I am going to buy another Aqua Joe hose for the front of the house.

Excellent alternative to conventional garden hoses and the other hose alternatives. It feels 80% lighter and it’s a real breeze to drag around the yard. Never pinches to cut off water supply and doesn’t work itself into knots. Lightweight metal sheathing doesn’t get hot and fully protects the interior hose. Before buying this I had to return Eight of the lightweight rubber hoses that do not have metal exterior sheathing. It turns out that they are not made to be dragged across anything except grass. They all sprouted multiple leaks within a month. Crazy. Not a design flaw. Rather, an attempt to produce a lightweight hose that does not work. They should put all of them in a yard sale

Easy to use and basically kink-free and rolls up easy. Not that heavy for my wife to use it almost daily. I have recommended it to others. The first one we bout in the past is still not an issue.

Lover this all summer. Long, light and strong. Unscrewed it from faucet but didn’t lay out hose to completely drain. My fault . It FROZE. Popped in three spots. So this is the replacement order. Lesson learned!!! Still like the hose.

I wish I'd known about this sooner. Rubber hoses break down easily, have permanent kinks in the crevices, and leaks; the fabric flexible hose is nice but the rubber within it breaks down from the heat. All of which is useless and doesn't last no more than a l one year 1/2--if that.So far so good. I'll follow up with a review in April/May 2023. Ill let you know then. Today is Tuesday, August 30, 2022.

So far I have been impressed with the hose. I really only needed a 75 foot. It is easy to wind around the holder isn't hot to the touch.

I purchased the hose in April ‘23, it was used once a week to water patio potted plants, no hard use and never is moved from its original bib. By November, the interior hose had disconnected from the aluminum housing and the hose is leaking on the inside. (Of note, also used the same brand adjustable nozzle).When I first purchased the hose, I registered the product with the SnowJoe company. When I contacted customer support about my broken hose, I followed their directions to send pictures of the product and the receipt of purchase. I was told the item was out of stock and to keep checking back. It’s been a month and I have not been contacted and the item still shows out of stock.The product was used a couple dozen times with the lightest use possible and it proved to be a piece of junk. Customer Service, as they call themselves, have not made this right even though I followed their product registration for warranty exactly as asked.Please find another product, the hoses and the people who stand behind them are lacking in quality.

Using to clean off dirt bikes, wash vehicles & yard work. It’s extremely light weight, easily maneuverable & very usable by even my young kids. Would highly recommend this hose to anyone.

Bought a rubber expandable hose at H D for my elderly mother for ease of use, it burst in 2 days. Than I bought this hose, it has been excellent. Light weight, easy to use, no twists, no kinks, no tangles. A great product! Very happy with it.

oh stainless steel hose, where have you been all my life? This makes gardening in my half-acre yard a delight.Lightweight and excellent pressure for a 100ft hose. The first order arrived with a leak right out of the box (it happens!) but Amazon's swift exchange policy had another on the way immediately and full return of the damaged one was easy.

I like the hose just because it doesn't take up a lot of space when ravelling it up. The only thing so far that I do not like is the hose makes your hands black when you are stretching it out. If it is stainless steel it shouldn't make your hands turn black. I can understand aluminum but now stainless steel. Why is this and will that go away eventually? Is there a way of not letting the hose turn your hands black when you are handling it?

Exceptional performance and very very light. It weighs fractions of what a rubber or plastic hose weighs.
