Fabulous I really did learn to sew in 30 minutes. There are paper patterns included which were perfect for a quick easy start. My confidence and sewing skills have improved dramatically.

This is an essential book for the beginner sewist.With 25 projects and a double sided pattern sheet it is a complete lesson on how to sew.Every project has a different skill to learn. From zips to applique, there are helpful tips and finishing ideas to guide through each process.This bright colourful book is perfect for a complete novice, but the projects are brilliant for gift ideas for every lover of sewing.I love how the ideas included are great for stash busting. Some using just a small amount of fabric, and can be completed in an afternoon.Highly recommended

I am an experienced maker of clothes using a machine but have never attempted to go outside of those parameters. This book is so easy to follow and understand and with the step by step instructions makes things less daunting. With the lockdown I've had time to thoroughly digest this book and have had the time to make several items that are in it and I'm so happy with the results. It is the perfect book for beginners and for experienced sewers like myself who are not very adventurous. Loved it!

I was looking forward to learning how to sew in 30 minutes as this book promised and especially after reading the reviews, but I'm sorry to say I was disappointed. I'm a complete novice when it comes to sewing and I really didn't find this book helpful. I've found YouTube videos much easier to follow. So I would save your money and just use them, I've managed to make much more by following videos. Maybe when I become better I might find this book more helpful.

Haven’t sewed for along time since my 22 yr old Singer died!! Just bought a new machine and saw this book! Has a lot of really nice patterns that I want to try! Even making a coiled basket! I’ve seen them at craft shows but never knew how to make them!! Processes well explained! New and experienced sewers will get their money’s worth in this book!!
