Dyed hair girly here. My hair was a very light pink on top previously to using this dye. I used about three squirts of the pink mixed with a lot of conditioner which covered my hair down past my chin. It's extremely pigmented, smells good, hair feels soft and I think it will last a good few washes more than the dye I usually use (directions). Definitely good value for money! I don't think it stains skin any more than any other dye. I would definitely recommend. Most importantly, it's vegan and CF.

I've been dying my hair red on and off since I was 15. I am now 40. My hair is a dark brown naturally however of late it's more white/grey than dark. I had a box dark dye covering grey for 4 years and intermittently would bleach parts to turn red. All brands faded fast. I recently bleached the entire lot to white and light blonde. Perfect base for red? No. None of them held, most went orange after rinsing other pink.not even Manic panic or my normal directions mix held longer than the rinse. This was a last minute attempt at covering a red /pink /orange mess I was left with after a revlon box red was put over a faded icon red that went pink in one was.. This.. This was on 10 mins and rinsed the colour on the box. It's perfect. It's even and it's red! It took a lot of rinsing ( use as cold as you can stand as warm will pull out colour) and it was still running pink water when I stopped so I expect red pillows tomorrow. But my gosh it's good!

I must confess I have never heard of Knight and Wilson, so knowing the vibrant colours they do from research, I was looking forward to try the vibrant magenta. Firstly I need to fill you in, how my hair was prior to putting on the semi dye. My natural hair is brown, then had my hair blonde/ white blonde at the salon.... I have regrowth from my scalp naturally, as it has been four weeks since visiting the salon. If you have regrowth of dark hair, this colour will not cover the actual original hair. Magenta is super super bold and bright, however lift my hair up and my roots are dark.. To get the best from the tube, squeeze it all out in a round tub, and Nick a medium bristle clean paint brush, this is so much easier to do the hair. In fact my husband did mine, and as a decorator knew how to dye mine. Ensure it’s swirled around and mixed together well before applying. Also required, lots of towels A plastic bag + peg A non metal comb States to wash hair and towel dry to leave just damp, I only washed my hair the day before so wet mine all over. My husband started at the back as instructions state, then work to the front, ie fringe. I put a plastic bag on my head with a peg to tie, then leave for 30 minutes, the reason for doing this, cooks the hair to enhance the colour. After 30 minutes, rinse the colour off in cold or Luke warm water, I wouldn’t advise using hot water because the colour will fade very fast. Even normal washing every few days, always best in cool water. Set and style as normal All that’s in the box is the colour and a large pair of gloves. Be very careful when using this dye, it’s called dye for a reason. Even my stainless steel sink got dyed, it will dye white ceramic sinks. I placed towels all over the place. My hair is short, one tube of this dye was fine, in fact had some left over, if doing the whole head, and hair is longer I’d recommend two boxes, real long hair then at least three boxes. Decent price, in town shops maybe more There is no conditioner in the box, the Creme suppose to do it all.. I am leaving mine a good few days to settle before washing again Best to do a patch test behind the ear 24 hrs before dyeing hair, best to be safe OTT bright pink hair, best on blonde hair, or dyed blonde hair for total bright pink magenta hair. If hair is another colour, the dye can still be used for a subtle pink, but do not expect bright pink. To get this bright colour use a pre lightener... I've dyed my hair for many years and this is definitely a strong dye. looks as advertised on bleached and toned hair and very easy to use. Lost a star as this is the most staining and wash-out I have ever got from a hair dye. I've washed my hair about 5 times now and each time my shower goes completely blue and my hands ears and back are re-dyed all over again. Looks great on hair but makes your skin look hypoxic! would not recommend to beginners.

Works so quickly, probably the best red hair colouring that I have ever used. Make sure you wear gloves because it activates so quickly.

After years of using Crazy Colour, I decided to give Knight &Wilson a go after a friend recommended it. The Colour is so vibrant and shiny , so much better than Crazy Colour ! I only used 75% of the tube instead of the usual 2x tubes of CC. Easy to use , I prelightened my hair to a light baby blonde ,left the colour on for 30 mins and it certainly did the job. How long it will last I'm yet to discover , however it is so vibrant I have high hopes !

The colour is good , but it doesn't really wash out, even after 3 months i can see that its still there 😬😬😬

great colour ! stays well even after multiple washes. if you’re looking for a temporary dye, though, i’d avoid. doesn’t stain as bad as manic panic / stargazer / other semi-permanents
