took 15 min to assemble 18" Bike, Excellent Excellent Excellent Bike
18" tire size bike was super easy to assemble , put the handle bars in an tighten an put the front tire on an tighten put the undersized pedals that need to be bigger on the 18" tire bikes were easy an tighten the back tire an set up your seat an that's it,Super happy son I have today, Its been tough finding a new bike this summer, this is a super good quality bike an not too heavy like some of the other bikes.Needs bigger pedals if your son is like 6/7 or older the pedals that came with the 18" bike are too small same size as the first year bikes lol.

4.5 stars, kid loves his first bike!
The media could not be loaded. Bought this as a first bike for my 6yo. He’s 3ft 11inches tall and the 18 inch fits him perfectly, with a little room to grow. The bike is black and sleek. Tires work well. We had to add more air into them prior to riding it. Training wheels were super easy to install and take off when my 6yo was done with them. He learned to ride two wheels on this bike. It rides smooth. It’s a bit heavy. Even for me to lift on the bike rack but I manage. My kiddo can pick it up when it falls on the ground. Just not the lightest bike.Docking a half star because assembly went along great until the very end when we had to make sure the brakes worked. The instructions were poor for troubleshooting the brakes and a screw was stripped prior to us assembling it. It did take two adults to assemble in less than an hour, plus we took it to a local bike shop to have the brakes checked. It was a minor annoyance; still recommend this bike.

Quality Exceeds Price
This is a great learning bike. Solid and great looking. Comes with the training wheels as well. Gave this to my grandson on his 4th birthday and it took him all of 10 seconds to hop on and ride away…with a huge smile!

Wonderful bike overall and superb quality
My little guy was absolutely blown away by this bike. It fit him perfectly as described in the age chart and he was starting to balance by end of the day. He loves it so much and the quality is really what I expected from Schwinn. We ordered the 18” and I feel he will get many years out of this bike. Everything was there and works. Assembly took about 20 minutes not counting unboxing. Very happy with this purchase during hard times. His smile was golden in our hearts 💕.

Would be 4 stars if Schwinn/China had better quality control during assembly.
I will say that the bike is very nice looking and is packaged well. It comes partially assembled, but everything Schwinn/China assembled needs to be redone for the bike to be worthy of 4 stars. The rear wheel had too much tension on the bolts and the chain was also too tight resulting in a rear wheel that was difficult to turn. The crank adjustment was set so tight the pedals are hard to turn and will lead to premature bearing failure and a tired child. With a proper adjustment everything spins smooth and easy and will be a smooth easy ride for your child. The front wheel was out of round and needed to be trued with a spoke adjustment. The hand brakes took a bunch of time to adjust properly. If you are handy and can adjust all the thing's listed above it will be a nice bike. If you are not handy I would not advise this bike for you as there is more to assembly of the bike than what is listed in the assembly directions. The training wheels are a nice feature to include with this bike but look to be flimsy plastic. The seat at it's lowest setting is 23"off the ground for those wondering if the bike is too big or small for their child . My son is just turning 4 and is 44" tall and looks to be a good fit with room to grow. Nice bike for the money, but will take some TLC to make it correct mechanically as quality control from Schwinn/China is lacking.

6 yo loves it.
My boy turned 6 and got the 18” for his birth day. This bike is perfect for him. I can adjust the seat down to where both heals are on the ground but tip toe is better. My boy enjoys it immensely. The handbrakes are excellent. This will last him several years. I’m glad I saved a ton of money by sticking with the black and white color scheme. No idea why they charge more for other colors.

Beautiful Bike
Number plate looked cheap and creased so I removed it. Pretty easy assembly. For some reason I was under the impression the 18” with training wheels did not come with kick stand, but it does. I purchased an 18” for my 4 year old for his 5th birthday. He’s pretty tall at 44 1/2” so I figured the 18” would be a good size for him to grow into. The bike is smaller than I expected but he’ll be able to ride it comfortably. I hope it brings my son a lot of happiness for the next couple of years.
