I believe that the manufacturer's response of 8.2 pH is measuring the acidity of the mineral water BEFORE adding the carbonation. That's not very helpful to consumers concerned about their teeth and enamel. A more accurate answer seems to be in the 5 - 5.5 range, as people are obviously asking about the pH of final product as it is sold. Nestle - can you respond to this? (I suspect not.)

Are the cans 100% recyclable? (another answer indicates they have some kind of lining)

Yes, the cans are aluminum and 100% recyclable. Most metal food and drink containers are lined with a very thin (and safe) polymer coating that promotes freshness and food safety. The coating, as well as the pigments used to print the graphics on the exterior of the can, have no impact on the recyclability of the container.
