Great for pregnancy (or regular use)
I searched far and wide for a safe mineral-based sunscreen for pregnancy. I settled on this one and I was not disappointed. It saved my skin from a lot of sunburn this summer! As other reviewers mentioned, it is harder to rub into the skin and can leave a whiteish tint, but that’s a small price to pay for a pregnancy-safe option.

The BEST sunscreen I've found
This is my MUST HAVE sunscreen. I've had almost every type of skin cancer (thankfully, caught early), so I NEED good sun protection, especially on my face. I have very fair skin. This product leaves a bit of a white cast, but after a short period of time, that white case is absorbed. The white cast of a mineral sunscreen might look chalky on a person with darker skin. The BEST thing about this sunscreen is I can put it on my eyelids and under my eyes, it doesn't irritate my eyes AT ALL. The other well-known sunscreen I used for a long time really made my eyes sting if a bit got into them. This is my favorite sunscreen of all time.

Perfect for Sensitive Skin!
My holy grail mineral sunscreen! So gentle, no white cast, and feels lightweight. The soft finish is perfect under makeup. Love that it's fragrance-free and works for both face and body. Highly recommend!

Good sunscreen with natural ingredients
This is a very good sunscreen. I used it during pregnancy because it contains natural ingredients, and it worked well for me. The only downside is that it leaves a bit of a white cast on the skin, so I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5.

Great for sensitive skin with rosacea 🌿
My husband started using this sunscreen after his dermatologist recommended it for his rosacea, and he noticed a positive change in just a few days. It soothes his skin and doesn’t cause irritation or redness. We’re hopeful that, together with his other treatment, it will keep improving. It protects really well from the sun without feeling greasy. Excellent product from La Roche-Posay.

GREAT for sensitive skin
I have the most sensitive, dermatitis prone skin of anyone in human history. This sunscreen didn't cause me to flare nor did it cause my existing flare to worsen. It is SOOO gentle and sensitive skin friendly. Now, let's address the elephant in the room first: yes, there's a whitest with this sunscreen BUT only if you treat it like a chemical sunscreen. You can't quickly rub it in and be good to go. I apply half, rub it in, let it sink in for a few minutes, rub in the other half, wait a few minutes and go back and rub it in more. On days where I don't have as much time I do apply a tiny bit of tinted sunscreen (tower 28 sunny days is my go-to) on top and it completely cancels out any white cast. I am also super picky about how sunscreen/makeup feels on my face, if something feels cakey I can't stand it. I am shocked this doesn't feel cakey on my skin at all. The only downside is the 10-15 minutes it takes to sink in and having to rub it in twice. If you've got the time this is a god send for sensitive skin!

Went on, looked, and felt like a mix of white, pasty, heavy paint mixed with glue
It went on, looked, and felt like a mix of white, pasty, heavy paint mixed with glue. The white pasty paint look never went away, even after attempting to rub it into my face for several minutes and being outside for a few hours. It remained a sticky, white paste for a few hours, as it baked onto my skin. Finally, when I attempted to wash it off in the shower, it refused to come off. I had to wash my face several times with soap and eventually use my fingernails to scrub it off. I can give it one star because it did, indeed work as a sunscreen. But the white pasty paint - glue effect was not acceptable to me. Not sure why it got such great reviews from others, but I will be throwing this expensive bottle of paint paste away. Surely there must be better physical sunscreens than this.

Leaves white cast, works okay under makeup.
First time using this sunscreen. I have very sensitive skin and thought since my skin tolerates their cleansers and moisturizers surely it should tolerate the sunscreen. So far so good. It’s very calming on my skin (maybe because of the zinc), but it leaves a noticeable white cast especially if you have dark skin. I wear mine under makeup and have a separate sunscreen from another brand on days where I don’t want to wear makeup. The white cast actually acts as a blank base and helps my foundation to lay well. A tip I learned from makeup artists years ago. Sunscreens that leave a white cast cancels out your natural color and acts as a corrector, concealer and foundation to lay better and look more like skin. Think of it like painting on a blank canvas. The texture is not lotion like and is actually quite thick. make sure to moisturize well before apply this sunscreen. I’ll write an update if I notice any negative issues, but so far I’m content with it because of the purpose I'm using it for.
