This hose is easy to move around. It’s flexible and lightweight. Love it

This appears to be a good hose and I like that the connectors and valve is made of metal. It shrinks down perfectly and the outside casing is heavy-duty, which is great since my walkway and driveway are made of aggregate. I had some of the original expanding hoses and they didn't last long because of the roughness. I expect this will last several seasons but if not I will come back and update this review. I would purchsase this again.How I review:When I review a product said product automatically starts with four stars as I rarely will purchase anything below four stars. I then add and/subtract stars based on certain criteria as listed below.1. If an item is exactly what I expected and nothing more it will receive a four star rating2. If an item surpasses my expectations it will gain a star (5 Stars)3. If an item goes slightly below my expectations it will lose a star (3 Stars)4. If the instructions for the product (if needed) are poorly written (hard to understand due to language issues or grammar) or just too hard to follow it will lose a star no matter if the product meets or exceed my expectations5. If a product is significantly below my expectations I will deduct two stars6. It will be rare that I would give a product one star since I buy mostly items that have a 4+ rating but in rare instances there may be a good reason that even a four star product receives a one star rating from me. It could be because of customer service issues from the company but whatever the case is I will clearly explain my reason for giving a product only one star

Purchased in July 2021. These hoses are very convenient except for the price they don’t last very long. Only get 1 season out of them. This hose just exploded on me and is now useless. Had to throw away. It’s not even been a year and has been safely packed away in the garage all winter. Purchased in July so got about 3 months of use. Disappointed as I love this type of hose. Just can’t find one to last. Don’t think I’ll be buying another as this was my 3rd replacement.

The media could not be loaded.  SEE MY UPDATE BELOW...I had high hopes for this hose and bought 2 of them. In less than 2 months, one has sprung a leak. To me, that's false advertising in the description, when it says: - "STRONGEST GARDEN HOSE" - "STRONGEST WATER HOSE | COIL WATER HOSE | DURABLE FLEXI HOSE 50FT - ...Thickest HIGHEST GRADE inner rubber latex core, protected by EXTRA STRENGTH high density 3750D outer fabric. Of course the item is now beyond the 'return date.' But I'm hoping that the manufacturer (GreenFriendlyHome) will contact me to make this right.UPDATE: After I wrote to the manufacturer / seller, I was contacted. They are sending me a replacement. I call that good customer service. I'm changing my rating from 3 to 4 stars.UPDATE #2: I'm changing my star rating to 5, because of the excellent customer service from the company. Yes, it's possible that a product can have defects, as was with the case with one of the hoses I purchased. That said, with a little effort on my part in writing to the seller, I have received excellent follow up.NOTE: I *would* purchase from this seller again.

Pros: Excellent hose for people who have difficulty moving their water hose while in use and then storing it because it is very light weight and maneuverable. Takes very little storage room because when water is drained out of the house it takes up a very small footprint and is super easy to put on hose hanger.Cons: to help it last longer, need to pick it up when finished so that it isn't accidentally damaged by sharp objects falling on it. And need to support the end of it if a nozzle is attached to it because if left with it hanging from the hose hanger, it will probably shorten the life span of the hose due to eventual leakage between the nozzle and where it connects to the hose because the hose doesn't seem to be designed to support the heavy weight of a nozzle left unsupported when not in use.

I've been buying expandable hoses since they came out many, many years ago. Most that I've bought have lasted a very short time, with a few lasting a little longer. However, as expensive as they are, I keep buying them because they are just so convenient. We have a very robust garden, with many flowers, fruit trees, ornamentals, and vegetables, and we have a hose in each of the 4 corners of our house. Lugging around and putting regular hoses back away is beyond painful with so much gardening activity.This expandable hose looks like it may end my streak of buying new ones over and over. It's a whole new level of quality and technology that so far blows away all of the many I've bought over the years.The solid brass connectors are a leading indicator of the overall quality. All the other ones I've bought have had plastic connectors. It also just exudes quality in the feel of the external hose layer. And though I can't see the inner hose tube, I know this company has used the best material as they just would't make all the other components such high quality and skimp on the critical inner hose tube. Heck, even the packaging exudes quality.Despite the brass connectors and heavy duty materials, it's still very light and easy to use.If you've used, and thrown away, a lot of expandable hoses in the past, this one is a reason to buy another one and give it a try again. And if you've never used an expandable hose, give this one a try and you'll never go back to a regular hose again!!
