Lexmark CS410n Compact Color Laser Printer, Network Ready and Professional Features

First, using a Mac, though it's supposed to be compatible. When it works for me, it's great. But in the several months I've had this printer, I've had a couple of show-stopping issues (colors suddenly print washed out; certain PDFs suddenly print as a one-line error message instead of the actual content) and their tech support hasn't been able to help me (lack of responsiveness and/or answers that aren't applicable). I eventually solve them with the help of Google and some savvy friends, but don't think that should be necessary to use a printer.

Positive: Printer is fast, of decent quality, and doesn't have fragile bits hanging off like other brands. Good value for the money.Negative: OS-X has drivers out of the box, whilst Windows 7 requires that you install disks or download 100MB drivers. Nobody has optical drives on their laptops anymore, Lexmark. You should have at least one engineer in Redmond. Get it together.

Haven't received the new printer - purchase 1/26/15. Purchased LexmarkNever had any problems until last month. Some cartridges were defective

The printer had a flaw from day 1 - roller issue ? I thought it might clean / fix itself but it never did. Logged in to inquire about warranty and apparently it ended after 60 days. Pretty much worthless now.

I bought this printer to replace an older Lexmark C540n. All I can say is what an upgrade. Fast and beautiful color and black and white documents. It is also much quieter than the older model. Extremely easy to setup on my Mac network. It automatically downloaded all the drivers needed to operate. Never used the included CD. I was surprised to see AirPrint included as a nice bonus for printing from iPhones and iPads. (Works great). This is an all around solid printer that dollar for dollar beats comparable HP lasers hands down.

Looks Like a quality unit but when tested Red Toner is all gone and the others are almost gone as well. Will be checking into free cartridges before Christmas for my Wife's Christmas present. So far she is not impressed!

Nice upgrade of our old printer to this one. Very fast and clear. Update on March 17 , 2016, after using the printer for some time now, it uses far less ink then cheaper models and prints excellent. We have been printing certificates on it in the hundreds and is so much faster and will save money on the in the long run on ink cartridges.

We bought three of these for our office and within a year, all three have stopped working properly. Cables had to be replaced on all three & one does not function now at all. Terrible printer.
