Fits Cold Steel SRK Survival Knife
For any owners of the Cold Steel SRK San Mai iii or similar - this sheath fits the 6in blade nicely, and doesn't fall out when held point-up, even when ya jiggle it. I love this knife and have used it for years but always kinda hated the dorky tactical sheath it came with--this leather adds a really nice "old-world" touch that classes the whole thing up.Love this sheath. For the price point I was really impressed with the overall quality and sturdiness. I'm a stickler for not buying cheaper items when it comes to my kit, especially when it comes to survival gear; but this thing is solid and just fits the bill! Thanks for the excellent product and super fast shipping and for not breaking my bank lol.

Dangerous to carry a knife in this sheath!
I had high hopes for this sheath. The company makes a good leather product. However you carry a knife in this at your own peril. It works fine if you do not twist or turn or lean, in other words if you remain perfectly upright and keep the sheath totally horizontal and perhaps do not move it holds your knife but not securely. There is no retention strap and no matter what knife I put in it the knife eventually falls out with just every day movement. Yes, I followed the companies instructions and used the correct size blades. Damn near cut off the back of my heel when my Muela blade fell behind me. Would be great if there was a retention strap but without that this is dangerous!

Good Fit - Cold Steel Master Tanto (VG 10 San Mei 6”)
Sheath is well made and sufficient for casual field carry. Retention is friction based with no retaining strap in place. Fit is good for Cold Steel Master Tanto (VG 10 San Mei) with 6” blade. All n all a good bargain for every day use.
