Very nice sound
I have many guitars, the Martin's are consistent with great sound. I considered Taylor, Takamine and others. I'm very happy with my Martin.

C'mon Martin, get your cases fixed.
Superb instrument. The stench of the glue is not a great advertisement for their quality control. Yipes, the case? I hope it is the die or glue in the case. I will let both air out for a month and chime in again when/if I smell fresh aged dried wood.

Amazing Sound
This is a rather expensive guitar, but once you play it, it will be worth every penny. The materials used, and the craftsmanship are superb, and the only thing better is the sound it produces. I've played 6 string acoustics and other 12 string brands, and this one is in a league of its own.If you have an acoustic guitar player that you love (including you) they deserve one of these Martins. Be aware that these are very limited production compared to 6 string martins, so you may have to search for to find one available.
