I think this is the perfect necklace for a teenage boy. The shells are nicely colored and they all match so there's no highs or lows to the coloring. The gauge of wire that they used to hold the shells is of nice quality. The only issue that I did have with the necklace is that the clasp has come undone several times and it has fallen off. The positive is my son has found it but the negative is it is falling off too many times and he's not sure if he wants to wear it any longer.

On one hand, I really like the look of this necklace. Sadly, the clasp on this thing is super fragile and will come undone as I'm walking around. I've been making a habit of keeping the clasp in the front so that when it comes undone, it will just hang on my neck instead of falling off giving me a chance to redo it.One day though, I suspect this thing will fall off and I will lose it for good.

Fits great! A little difficult to screw together the clasp--wish they had used a magnetic one. That's the only "con". Would definitely buy it again.

My grandson accidently broke an identical necklace that his dad wore when he was in high school in the 90s. This one looks exactly the same and probably cost less! It was a great replacement and my grandson now has his lucky necklace for basketball back!

Maybe I got the size wrong, but it's too small to be a necklace and to big to be an anklet.Not sure what the theory is.Looks good though . . . wish I could wear it.

This so far has been a great necklace for our 2 yr old. Fits great....& we love the durability of it. Once we received it we put it on him right away and he’s not taken it off since. He wears it in the bath, ocean, and at bedtime. It’s the perfect island necklace for a little one.

I love these. They go well with my Pacific Islander skin.
