I am happy with the functionality of this purchase. It is strong, stable, well made, and a good height. I have a very high lifted bed so I can store things under it so I bought this as a step to assist getting into bed because I am 5'4". It sounds silly but I actually love the tall bed. Anyways, this is the perfect step stool for just a little boost and looks better than the plastic one for what I am using it for. The only minor complaint is I guess I didn't realize the wood wasn't stained or finished in anyway and the wood is lighter than in the picture, which I am not a fan of. Its not big deal though and this way I can stain/ paint it whichever color I would like. Overall an excellent item for the price.

THIS IS A GREAT LITTLE SHORT WELL MADE WITH VERY NICE SMOOTH WOOD. iT IS VERY STRONG AND STURDY FOR ANY JOB. I LIKE MINE AND USE IT TO STAND ON AND REACH SOMETHING HIGH. I FEEL THAT IT WOULD SUPPORT A MAN OF AVERAGE WEIGHT.

Easy to assemble but only appropriate for children— my daughter has a similar item which is much sturdier and better made. I did not notice the big difference until it was too late!
