I did hesitate quite a bit before buying those. The price really set me off. I even thought of fashioning my own joining plates out of scrap metal.The item comes in a very nice plastic box. Screws are included, though I used my own self-tapping screws.The steel is oh-so-very resistant. Takes force to bend or twist. Which is an added bonus, if you care about tensile strength.Each plate has a peel to preserve its fine sheen.Overall you should consider this purchase if you are looking for joining with embellishment. The finish on the plates makes for a nice look, especially if you cover the screws with satin metal caps.The price is a bit steep. Buyers beware.

The items do the job for which they are designed - up to a point. The quality of the finish is poor, the plates were not absolutely flat and the bevils rough. The screws were also of poor quality with the centres 'rounding out' as soon as final pressure applied to tighten them. As I say, they did the job, but it wasn't neat!

Bad quality. Rough edges from cutting. Not stainless steel, just mild steel flat bar. Be aware.

Used this to fix up an old wardrobe, no complaints whatsoever - it’s sturdy and has been holding for months now, no problem.
