Kept me from needing to get a new fridge! Pretty easy to install.

This was identical to the one in my Frigidaire refrigerator. I recently moved and after the move my Frigidaire refrigerator for the garage kept popping the circuit breaker. So after some internet research I narrowed it down to the thermostat or the heating element. I bought this element and installed it and no more issues, the fridge has worked for 4 days with no issues. Before replacing the defrost heater element, the fridge would trip the breaker daily.

I thought my 20 year old Frigidaire was finally dead after it got warm. When talking a closer look, I noticed that the coils were frozen. There are three things that keep the coils from freezing over: the timer, the thermostat, and the dryer coil. It wasn’t the timer…. It wasn’t the thermostat…. It was the last thing: the dryer. When I removed the old dryer it was clearly dead. After replacing the dryer coil, the Frigidaire works great. My next fridge may very well be a Frigidaire.

Part was fine but did not fit. Will have to return and order correct fit.

Saved a ton of money by ordering from Amazon. Checked price at local appliance store and they wanted 150$ verses the 18$ I paid on Amazon. Worked like a champ and saved me from buying a new refrigerator.

Can be installed in 20 minutes by anyone who can turn a wrench and has a lick of common sense. Just take pictures of how the old one comes.

Treated this defrost heater as a universal. Fit adequate for an old fridge with zero parts available after 53 years. Still Works.
