Chantal Colbie Electric Kettle, 20 ounce, Polished Stainless Steel

I've been using this kettle almost daily for over a year now (EDIT: 3 years now and it's still going strong), and it's everything I want in a personal tea kettle. It's small so it doesn't take up a lot of room, yet it holds all I want for individual portions. It holds over two cups, but I typically only need 4-12 oz for cup o soups, tea, ramen, oatmeal. It heats the water very quickly, within a minute or two, and it's ready to pour.I know some people don't like the design for pouring, but you just have to pour a little slowly instead of trying to dump the water out. I only had a spill once and it was my fault.As far as cleaning goes, I've only had to clean it once because after the first week I switched to distilled water and haven't looked back. Boiling distilled water in it every day keeps it sparkling. The cleaning that first time was easy though.This is basically exactly what I wanted. I don't have room for anything bigger, and I don't need the the full capacity. As long as you can pour water with some degree of control, I recommend this.

Very disappointed. Cord too short. Difficult and dangerous to pour once water is boiling. Open button falls out and is peeling.

I was so lucky to find this on Amazon after seeing it in on vacation. I use it daily several times and is great. It heats up fast, love the automatic shut off and keeps it warm till I make up my tea bag . The price is great . I will be purchasing another for a friend . Oh , and it’s compact and easy to clean ! Thank you for making a great product

Nice little travel kettle. Heats quickly and I like the shut off feature. All steel is a big plus. But, unless you pour VERY slowly this kettle drips from the spout edges all over your counter. I pour out of the side, avoiding the mess making spout.

Worked well for a few weeks, then lid started sticking, stopped working after three months. Bought a second one in white because stainless unavailable, Manufacturer had offeerred to replace but decided to go through Amazon. Automatic shutoff stopped working this week. I use lots of hot water so must clean with vinegar almost every day due to white buildup.

This water kettle is the perfect size for one or two people who want a fast cup of tea. It’s so much quicker than my stove top tea kettle that I find myself drinking more tea. The stainless body is easy to clean, durable, takes up little counter space and is attractive. I am glad I found it on Amazon and recommend this Chantel kettle.

The open button gets stuck down causing the latch to stay open and then the lid won’t stay closed.
