My husband ordered this for me, and it's a very eye-catching, sparkly heart necklace. It is not chintzy or cheaply made, and It is larger than I expected, so it doesn't get lost on large women like myself. It has the extender, so it fits just right. I get compliments on it by almost everyone. Makes a really nice birthstone gift, and already in a gift box.

My daughter's first birthstone... She loves it, but as a trained jeweler and without digging out my spectrometer, I doubt this is real peridot. There's not much of an olive tint to it... Probably synthetic, and that's ok for this first gift, but I couldn't find anything letting on to that in the description, so it seems a bit misleading.
