Well, you must! The Japanese was sent ... It's just that I had it, as if I had such a model, I have been using it for 5-6 years, it still works, only the battery is dead, and so it was made in China, here in the reviews people are worried that they were sent to them made in China ... I would be glad if this new Japanese will work as long as the Chinese one;) The Chinese assembly is licensed, everything will be fine, the model is good, but only for short haircuts, but for short haircuts this is an excellent device.

The trimmer is fine I like it very easy wash maintain.. Clean... Trimming is also fineBut what I don't like is about amazon.. that Amazon has mentioned on site that the trimmer is ( made in Japan) Which is not true....The trimmer you are selling on amazon is made in China so please stop bluffing your regular customer'sOtherwise the trimmer is fine... I m personally happy with the product.. worth the money

It’s made in China, not Japan
The product is not made in Japan.. it is made in China and I had ordered only because I saw made in Japan tag on the front Box photo of the product as shown. Now I feel I’m cheated.

8 years and still rocking
I'm.leaving this review because I can. I bought the ER 217 8 years back and it still works like a beast. The battery does not work anymore so it needs to be plugged in. It does not matter though. This is the best trimmer ever. I've tried others too and nothing gets close to this.Go for it
