Crystal Tarot (Tarot Card Deck)

This is my first tarot deck (that I purchased along with a couple of others) and I really am enjoying it! This deck has really resonated with me since I first saw it online, and when that feeling didn’t pass after a couple of weeks, I decided to order it. This deck just illustrates why it’s important to have a deck you connect with/trust when you’re doing readings so that you’re able to receive the truth that lies within it.Pros:-The artwork!!!! There’s a lot to look at and consume, even in the numerical cards that are pip versions, because of this I think it helps one work on some of their own interpretations of the card or at least extensions in the cards’ original interpretation-as a person of color I prefer to look at the stain glass people than just generic white people lolCons:-booklet that comes with it is not very beginner friendly in the sense that it gives advice more than it explains meaning-pip cards for the numbers 1-10 in minor arcana (though in this deck specifically it doesn’t bother me too much because of the artwork)Other things to note:-the imagines are not all exactly like how they are in RWS deck so one should probably look through just to verify that these images resonate with you- because of this and the guidebook being quite simplistic I wouldn’t recommend this for a beginner if this will be your ONLY deck for the time being

Elizabetha Trevison did an amazing job on this tarot, and i would say that her artwork is out of this world gorgeous!The deconstructed approach she takes to rendering reflected light and planar forms (for example, in her renderings of folds in clothing,) is just incredible! She has an amazing sense of pattern, and how to use pattern to "sculpt" her figures into being.The Trumps are beautiful, and like the rest of the deck, each has a rich, jewel-like feel. They tend to follow the generally accepted conventions for representing the characters of the trumps, but their rendering is opulent and spectacular.However, i think this tarot really shines when it comes to its Pips.Now, i am reading on this comment section that some folks dont like the pips, since they only show the general suit symbol, and multiply these as per the number on the card. I dont think that criticism is really fair to the deck.Because the thing is, Trevision embedded those suite symbols in some wonderfully rich landscapes with dream like arabesques of scenery woven all around the suite symbols. The landscapes tend to be secondary to the suite symbols, but they curl around the composition in mysterious vine-like spurts. Personally, I think they are some of the best pips I have ever seen! (But that's just my taste.)The ONLY complaint I would have about this deck is that the cards have bright white boarders. I dont think that was a good choice for them.The stark color of the white fights against the bold, saturated colors of the cards. It would have been better to use a black or grey border color. If Lo Scarabeo ever reprinted these, it should be with black borders to really set the images off!That being said, this deck is an absolute visual delight... 5 STARS!

Would be better borderless, the awkward framing of the images is a real distraction for me. The individual art is nice. The pips are beautifully decorative but not illustrated. I like this tradition but I thought I'd mention it for people who prefer illustrated pips.The only reason I've given it a 4 and not a 5 ☆ rating is due to their unfortunate borders.

Truly stunning deck. I have over 50 decks and by artwork alone this is one of my favorites. However, the borders did nothing for me and I could not discern the symbols and details within each card until I decided to trim the cards. I’m so glad that I did! The deck is smaller - like a mini deck - but the colors are vibrant and it really allows you to see the art.

I absolutely love this deck! The art is beautiful and the messages in the accompanying book bring a different feel and meaning to the traditional meaning of the cards. The cards are normal size and easy to shuffle. The back of the cards is a beautiful dark green with a moon image, and the cards are not flimsy. The art is kind of a mixture of Klimt and mosaics. I would most definitely recommend this deck. It makes a beautiful addition to any tarot deck collection. I took a few photos of some of my favorite major arcana cards, and one of each of the suits of the minor arcana. Love the deck! 😍🔮

Muito bonito

Estoy encantado con este Tarot, desde hace tiempo lo quería en mi colección y por fin lo tengo. Una obra de arte, bellas ilustraciones, buen material aunque un poco más grueso el cartoncillo hubiera sido más apreciable pero es aceptable. Lo recomiendo más para tarotistas experimentados.

J'en avais envie depuis un an, puis je me suis décidée. Je ne regrette absolument pas. Ce jeu est superbe, les illustrations sont magnifiques et ouvrent à une interprétation beaucoup plus en phase avec mon âme d'artiste que d'autres jeux de tarot. Je vais prendre le temps de bien apprendre à m'en servir car les significations des cartes ont été revues. Mais c'est vraiment un très bel objet.

Vorab: Hier ist ein Fehler in der Artikelbeschreibung, denn es handelt sich um das Kartendeck und nicht um ein Taschenbuch. Vielleicht wird das von Amazon noch korrigiert. Da ich ohnehin das Kartendeck und kein Buch wollte, bekam ich letztlich den richtigen Artikel.Die Karten sind schön gestaltet, sehr bunt, aber nicht schrill. Man sollte vor dem Kauf wissen, dass bei etlichen Karten der kleinen Arkana eine intuitive Deutung nicht möglich ist. Hier kommt man nur zurecht, wenn man die Bedeutung der Karten kennt. Die Motive der großen Arkana sind allerdings in der Regel gut zu erkennen, ansonsten ist auch die Beschriftung hilfreich. Das Deck ist aus meiner Sicht daher nicht für Anfänger geeignet, sondern nur für fortgeschrittene Kartenleger und natürlich für alle, die sich an schönen Kartendecks erfreuen können, diese sammeln oder einfach die Abwechslung beim Kartenlegen lieben.
