This is beautiful, but simpler than some eggs. When it opens, there is nothing inside. I purchased a similar one a few years ago, and it has Mary & Christ with 2 angels inside. The prices of these items has really gone up. I purchased 2 for my young goddaughters, & they were very pleased.

This has a Byzantine cross that the Byzantine Catholic Church uses as well as the Orthodox church. It opens up and is painted the same color inside as the outside. It is empty inside. It is nice for the price. Wish they had more colors because it is hard to match this teal color. A nice green would be nice, a white one and a pink.

Comes with its own gold chain. Sturdy, with enough detail to inscription on the back and imagery on the front. It is one the best crosses i own and is the main one I wear. For the price and image on the front and inscription on the back it's a deal!
