Wow.This is our first year messing around with mod suits and I gotta tell you, I am sold. But, then again.. I was sold when I bought it yeah? The ultimate test had yet to be done -- the girl. An eight year old turning sixteen year old that is on the fence between wanting to look pretty and fluffy for Halloween or sinister. This year we blended it with a costume idea we called "Shadow of a ballerina."This suit comes in two pieces. One for the head with seams to help you put it on properly and then the body suit and takes care of the torso, hands and feet. No need for anything else.. no skin peeking anywhere else! The mask tucks into the throat and then it Velcros shut in the back in three or four places. I ordered the Med for my 10/12 jeans size girl and it was a perfect fit. A little tall so it gathered some at the ankles and wrists but this size could easily fit a child a little older as well. Girth wise? It stretches somewhat? Think along the lines of jean sizes. Med is easily a 10/12We combined the suit with a black tutu and some black dance shoes and tada. Costume done.The girl's feedback for you:- I can see through the material just fine but you can't see me!- When it got really dark outside between houses I just lifted the front up so I could see better and then dropped it back down when I got to the door.-I can breath just fine.

Got this for my son's halloween costume. Size medium is a little loose but my son is lanky so that's expected. Medium fits a 50" height perfectly. And he is 50lbs so suit has a little looseness. Size 2 feet fit fine. Only part that doesnt fit are the fingers which have about .5 to 1 inch of extra length. The mask is a little snug and would be difficult to manage if lots of hair.

This worked great for my son as he is very thin, however the fabric is not as stretchy as you would think. It's very dark and perfect for what he wanted though!

Head is small... I read other reviews and knew we didnt need the head part anyway. It's a tight fit for my 9 year old who is more on the petite side, but it stretches so she can definitely wear leggings and a tank underneath. Painted this to resemble venom for her costume and she will have a mask. Serves its purpose! No complaints other than if you need a good, this one will fit a stuffed animal and mine was not attached.

Did not fit my 11 year old. Very frustrating that we did not have enough time to get a replacement. Stitching was off and size.was smaller than advertised. Did not fit my son who typically wears 10-12 with no problem.

I needed a purple bodysuit for a last second Minoru Mineta costume so I went for this one because it was the best color and the only one that would arrive on time. It fit my little brother perfectly and was comfortable. I really liked the removeable mask because I was able to fashion it into Mineta's mask with some soldering and Velcro. Overall this was a great suit for the price and I definitely consider buying again for future projects!

This costume is a great idea... what kid WOULDN'T want to be a shadow. However, it's kinda impractical for kids. It covers both hands and feet, and it was difficult for my 9 year old son to get into himself... and what if he needs to use the restroom while at school during his Halloween party dressup day? He can't just wash his hands because he'd have to take off the whole upper part and then somehow put the velcro together in the back himself when he was done. It would be better if the hands were removable, and attachable with velcro.My 9 year old son got an XL, which was too tight for him, especially the mask. I recommend you get a bigger size than you think... and then remove the hands.I also recommend that you have your kid wear something underneath, as we could see my son's belly button and underwear quite clearly through the sheer black fabric.

I got this for my son that wanted to be the blue Pikmin. They do not make a small size so I had to get a medium which would fit a 7-10 year old very well. The face part wasn't used, but he did try it on. You can see through it well, and you can breathe just fine. It has footsies attached as well as the "gloves". It's all one piece with the hood/face cover as a separate piece. Never got holes or anything. Well made.
