Double Light Switch Socket Coloured Acrylic Surround Finger Plate - Huge Colour Choice (Black)

Could’ve been a bit bigger - the area around the switch that this was used with, is matt painted and was getting heavily finger-marked, hence the purchase. Once installed (which is simplicity itself) I wondered if it could’ve done with being a bit bigger and after a few weeks of use, am still thinking the same. It has improved the look and does save the surrounding decor from further damage though. One thing I noticed was that you need to avoid over tightening the securing screws when you refit the switch plate, otherwise the high gloss finish to this item shows up any imperfections of the wall as “stress marks” and can look awful.

Got me out of a jam, I cut a socket switch out of middle of black tile but was 3mm too big, so it had a gap, only found out when I was grouting it so put this product around to cover gap and now it looks spot on like it meant to be there.

Excellent quality but a devil to get straight and even behind fitting. Would buy again though for sure.

Used to disguise bad plasterwork around shaver socket in bathroom. We did have to disconnect the wiring to get the surround around the socket- otherwise very simple. It looks great. It’s amazing how such a simple thing can make a huge difference.
