Yes, this is worth buying because...
The media could not be loaded.  If you are trying to make a fast decision, this little rechargeable light is it. It’s the size of a baseball. The highest level is a strong light. It has a solid red feature and a flashing feature. It’s a good value. End of short review. Keep reading for more information.Helpful tips for other uses beyond the obvious camping: shine the light on a jug of water or even a glass of water and the light will light up a larger space. An event planner could use colored water in a vase of water and create a magical table setting, or picnic table or during a burn ban - the red light creates the illusion of a campfire. Oh well... that’s not what you came to read so let’s get started.I specifically was seeking all the features in this light. I wanted a solid red light feature because red light does not blind my eyes at night. With a red light, I can still see the stars at night. One of my sons hates reading long reviews. He said”no one reads long reviews” - which is why he constantly returns items. My other son reads the reviews. If the reviews are honest, he’s thrilled with his purchases. I want you to be thrilled with your purchase. I want you to be happy with your decision. This review was a joy to write because the device was exactly what I needed and performed brilliantly. Another person may not need all the features that I need- yet. I’ll be buying more of this particular rechargeable lamps. If you are willing to read more - you’ll learn why and if not - stop here.Good for camping, office, home office, car, RV, van life, Skoolie, cruise, travel, bugout bag, boats, emergency lights, off-grid cabin, backyard bbq, walking, hiking, baby’s nursery, walking to bathroom at night, tent light, campfire light, RV and more. Yes, I plan to send this device to friends and family. We lost electrical power this summer on one of the hottest days of the summer meaning the nights were hot too. I am upgrading my emergency tech. Thankfully I go camping and my devices came to the rescue while neighbors’ kids were franticly separated from their video games. Disposable batteries had been used. I decided to upgrade to rechargeable and this time be sure to keep the power batteries charged at all times. I need all items to be useful for more than one task. I purchased this small lightweight rechargeable light and remain satisfied with my decision. Here’s why:Get free charging using solar or big battery generator. I use Rockport and Suaoki chargers also sold on Amazon to recharge the device.I like:- works as described- rechargeable with a lightweight easily shared cable- bright light can be reduced in intensity- solid red light for dark nights doesn’t blind my eyes- flashing red light option- lightweightI don’t like:The SOS signal isn’t US military specification according to someone who is a veteran. He said it’s “too fast.” I’m not an expert on SOS signals so I included a video for your review. Please comment below in my review section to let all of us know your opinion. That’s the only feature not to like. I would still use the red flashing light feature at the side of the road as a safety flasher. The story: Once there was debris on a rural highway. As night fell, my teen was driving and drove over the debris ruining the car. People were driving far beyond the speed limit and other accidents were caused. If I had this device in my bug out bag, hopefully I would have been able to prevent other accidents. Years have passed. He’s a great father and husband. I plan to order another one and ship it to his address and ask him to keep it in his fancy Audi just in case another teen makes his mistake and he finds himself needing an emergency light and flasher. Personally, everyone should have one of these devices in their car. I purchased this device for camping. I’ve ordered other rechargeable lights. This is the only light that I recommend to ride around in a car. Charge it every few months and it will always be ready to work.- About the handle: it looks weak. Because a similar design on another device broke at the base, I plan to create a stronger handle. The story: The clip is a nice design idea but the base of the clip is where another device broke the first time I used that other device on a camping trip. Now you understand my concern. When camping - you don’t want stuff to break and certainly don’t want stuff to break the first time you put the device into action. Yes, I know how to make things work and create workarounds. So in advance, I plan to create a new handle for the device. My mother now deceased used to say: “A word to the wise is sufficient.”The request: If you found this review helpful, or anyone else’s review helpful, please select the helpful button. The why: This easy action on your part is incredibly important to other consumers to let them know the review is worth reading and helps sellers and manufacturers create better products.Thank you for your time.Don’t believe the hype. Time is the only non renewable precious resource that we are born. Through human history, people will enslave people to steal their time. People will trade time for money. Time is your precious resource. This device will help you use your time wisely. I thank you for sharing your time reading and commenting on this review.

great emergency light
Absolutely great light! I loved it so much I bought 2, 1 was added to my car kit, it is light, small, bright, has 4 light settings and is magnetic! When I had to change a flat in the dark on the side of a highway this was a lifesaver! I keep 1 in my purse and am planning to buy a 3rd one to add to my hurricane kit.

Update: Nice light, mediocre battery life, EXCELLENT customer service!
Update (5/26/23)After posting my initial review, the seller reached out to me. I further explained the issue. They were very apologetic and said they would check with their supplier. In the meantime, they offered a generous resolution to my concern, which I immediately accepted. It's a pleasure to work with a vendor who truly stands behind their products.---------------------------------Purchased and tested two of the large orange light (4400 mAh).The lighting quality and selection of lighting modes are good. Decent build quality for a low cost product. The negative? The battery life is mediocre. Three test cycles of the camp light feature at the low mode. Drained after 24 hours. The product description says that it "may" get about 50 hours in the camp light low mode. Not even close. These lights are probably okay for light duty and occasional use. If seeking a lantern for longer term emergencies (my intended use) , spend the extra money and get a high quality product.

Excellent, with one caveat
There are two versions of the lantern, and they each have their strengths. This is the larger one, which is extremely bright. My home does not have as many electrical outlets as I could wish, especially since electronics have become so much more widely used. I don't camp, I use the lanterns in an odd corner where it's much easier to just hang them on a hook or set them on a table. then try to run a very long extension cord from the other side of the room. This is great for that, and a lot less trouble than the battery-operated lanterns I had been using.Added later: The only trouble I've had is that the hanging handle broke, but I didn't use it all that much once I got a lantern with remote. This became more or less the lantern that I keep in reach when I wake up at night. I plan to get another, at which point this will be in the car for emergencies. This takes a little longer to charge than my Siiviton, but since I just plug them into the charger when I leave for work, that's no big problem. I also think that the Siiviton lasts a little longer, maybe an hour or so, and it charges a bit faster, but it doesn't have the magnet (and that's why this is the one that is going to the car).I use this lantern at it's highest power, and it really lights up the area and is great for reading. Brightness uses a lot of energy, of course -- so my one caveat is that after 8-10 hours, it needs to be recharged. This isn't a problem for me, but it could be for someone who isn't going to be able to use a charger. It lasts the evening for me, and I just plug it in to be recharged when I don't need it. Of course, it can also be used at a lower light level, and should then last longer. I also have the smaller version, which has a softer light -- I keep it next to my bed and it's handy when I don't need much light, and lasts longer too. It was also adequate to read by, but I'm glad I have both.

Perfect light for camping and hiking, except for the high pitch ringing in dim mode
The media could not be loaded. Â This light would be perfect for all my camping needs except for the high pitch ringing when you switch the light from bright to dim. As you can hear in the video, when I turn it on in bright it works great, then I switch to the dim light and a high pitch ringing occurs and never stops. Being in the middle of nowhere is all about enjoying the silence, but if I want to use this light in dim mode, I have to listen to that high pitch ringing that makes me feel like my head is going to explode! So I will only ever be able to use this light in bright mode or in emergency red. And the same thing happens in flashlight mode. When it's bright, no sound. When I switch to dim, the ringing starts.I reached out to Lit-Path and their Customer Service team was awesome! Except the new light they sent me still has the ringing. I tried it out of the box and with low power the ringing wasn't as bad, but at full charge the ringing was louder in dim mode for the lantern and flashlight setting. At a far distance it is a lot less noticeable and probably only affects people with sensitive hearing. I don't own the larger model so I don't know if that one does it too. After reading about LED lights and the ringing, there does seem to be an issue with LED lights when they dim they change frequency rotation and can produce this type of ringing. Not much more I or Lit-Path can do when it is an LED issue. Thanks for all the help!

A poor copy
A Cheap knockoff of a quality light. An example of the poor quality, the plugs to protect the USB port are such a bad fit that they fall out. And it supposed to be waterproof!

This thing is so cool
Ok so, I wanted a light that wasn't too bright. It's easy to find the most lumens, and every light says it has all the modes, but THIS ONE! This one is legit. I didn't use the red modes, but those low modes, man. I needed that. Background: I work graveyard shift at a residential facility. This thing makes my job ez-pz. Nobody wakes up, but it gives me light to see into the rooms. It also charges my phone in a pinch, and I NEVER have to worry about battery life. This thing is a life saver. Clip it to my belt and forget about it. Magnet it to a file cabinet for when I'm home during the day, and I don't have to worry about it getting in the way. Super easy. Super convenient. The bright mode was great walking around the grounds by myself. A++, would buy again. My only minor nit-pick is that the clip could be a little more reliable. It's not bad, but the metal part is a little flimsy. Still hooks fine, and it's got great tensile strength.

Impressed how long the light lasts
I tested the longevity of its battery and am quite impressed. After a full charge, the strong light lasted 8.5 hours, and the low light lasted 52 hours. While these numbers are slightly lower than its specs, I am more than happy with it. In a power outage situation, this lantern at its low light setting will be enough to light several nights.

Small yet powerful
It's very small so, you think it won't be bright yet, it is. It has a hook to hang and can be used as a flashlight. It has 4 modes from bright to light to red and even flashing. Was used for camping. Now for emergencies. Great little light.

Bright!
This light has different settings and the brightest is BRIGHT. It lights up our entire 8 person tent easily and even on the highest setting I was pleasantly surprised with how long the battery life lasts! My teens used this recently on a camping trip and despite running it all night it still wasn't dead in the morning!

bad product description
Ok Such a shame I can't give you 5 starts because its a great light (so far, only used once) but can you please correct the info on your product ? The small light has a 2200mah battery the large has 4400mah battery. You have them both listed as being the larger battery in conflict with info provided in the manual. It seems like this is something that should be required info on any lithium product and you have been giving incorrect info to buyers...correct it.

Needs to last longer
Great design but it doesn't last long... even at half power. Please, it only charge with certain USB C cables. Strange.

High Light Output from a Small Unit
This light is excellent! It has a clip to hang virtually anywhere something can be attached. It has very high output and the battery lasted multiple nights while out in the elements. A week long camping trip didn’t require any recharge. Very impressed. Will buy again. If you are looking for a night light for camping; look no further.
