Warm, comfortable and work with smartphones
I was worried about these gloves after reviews about the pad in the wrist making them uncomfortable. All I can think is it must depend on handlebars, because with my MTB the pads aren't even noticeable. Really comfortable gloves, great for visibility and keep my hands warm. I haven't tested them in heavy rain yet. A point of note is that they do work with my smartphone, although it needs more of a finger-tip 'jab' rather than using the pads of your fingers

Very good and good cost
The gel works for me no harsh rubbing after 30 mile ride, around 2hrs. They have worked in 3 degree dry, keep hands warm. They do get warm and bit of sweat but it isn't uncomfortable. They are very good performance I paid 23 quid , I can't compare to more expensive brands like endura at 40 odd quid but there gribgrab are good they seems to be high performance but sensible cost The snot cloth is large soft and lush Plenty of grip and you can feel the bars etc they don't numb the hands. All in all 4 stars for me. 1 star down because they are a little Cold 2hen riding in about 3 degrees you can feel it a bit on the fingers but once you get riding couple of hills say they warm up, thus actually may be a good think, breathability, like said bit sweat but the gloves do well to soak it up. I can comment in waterproofing because don t ride in rain. I will use these between 4 and 10 degrees. All in all good performance and good cost.

Finally a glove that works
First glove that kept hands warm but also maintained dexterity and able to use my garmin touchscreen device. Almost too warm today now the sun is out but a great winter glove.

Warm enough for English winters
Nice gloves, fit very well for me. I have slim long fingers and bought XXL

Cold and uncomfortable
I used these for the first time today. Really disappointed. The weather was 8 degrees C, but dry with very little wind - I had cold hands for the whole ride. Along with this, the gel pad is in completely the wrong place and digs in, making them very uncomfortable after 30 minutes or so. I only rode for 1.5 hours, and my hands are aching as I sit here typing. Avoid.

An under-performing/overpriced product.
1. Correct length but too tight (particularly at the cuffs) 2. Insulation is ineffective 3. Palm gel-pad is in the wrong place/uncomfortable

Not windproof
Nice gloves and well fitting but not windproof. I'm using them with the glove liners of the same brand and my fingers are freezing with the wind factor when it's about 4 degrees. If you're looking for gloves to keep your hands warm when cycling in cold weather, these are not the ones.

I use these as normal gloves when I drive, they’re a bit wrong for that. But for biking or outside activities with wind? Awesome. Biking: The gloves are part of my winter commute tools. They legitimately block wind, on top at least, as I noticed when I dry them on the glove rack after. Winter commuting in Minnesota means subzero Fahrenheit weather, and I angered Mother Nature early in life so I usually get strong headwinds. I wear these INSIDE the Bar Mitts 6mm extreme cold pogies, but the gloves won’t help folks with cold hands caused by circulation issues. The cold metal slowly chills my fingers over the ride home since my poor bike gets stuck in an unheated indoor area and it’s not a long enough ride to rewarm the handlebars. Pulling a hand out to swipe my nose means no extra cold getting into my fingers. My experience with heavy winds a few weeks ago gave a great test for: Grip: Excellent, doesn’t slip off hoods inside pogies, haven’t been on bar tape yet, but I’m primarily on the hoods anyway. Also helpful grabbing boxes of delivered goods. Windpoof: Yep. Even when not stuffed into pogies, no cooling (-15 F) wind chill effect. Nose wiper: Soft, fleece thumbs means softly dried nose. When nose not hidden in wool for survival. Warmth: Meh. When I’m active, they’re okay. The pogies do the heavy lifting of warmth retention so the gloves would be warmer as mittens. But then it’s harder to shift. They don’t block the heat exchange between my palms and the cold hoods/handlebars, but I’m not uncomfortable. If you have a circulation issue, not these gloves. Consider diving mitts instead, thick neoprene with a mitten-like inside. Or electric gloves. That was my next choice if these hadn’t worked so well outside the pogies. Padding: Nice, feels comfortable on the hoods, seems to be in the right spots. Not a standalone winter outdoor heavier activity glove, but windproof, comfortable, visible, and grippy.
